This initiative represents an extraordinary effort to provide young girls in Bangladesh with access to education—a fundamental human right that is, unfortunately, often denied to them due to deeply embedded socio-economic barriers. Education is not merely a privilege but a right recognized globally by the United Nations, which advocates strongly for gender equality in education. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child underscore education as a basic human right, regardless of gender, nationality, or socio-economic status. Additionally, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all, while Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) promotes gender equality, advocating for the empowerment of all women and girls through access to education. Despite these commitments, young girls from impoverished backgrounds in countries like Bangladesh remain tragically overlooked. Many large organizations and charities, though well-intentioned, often direct their resources toward issues they perceive as more immediate, inadvertently sidelining marginalized groups who have little visibility or voice in global discussions. This oversight extends across local communities as well, where deep-seated social norms and economic constraints further limit support for young girls’ education, especially in rural or impoverished regions. As a result, these young girls are left to face overwhelming barriers alone, struggling to access even basic education and denied the chance to improve their lives. This is where the initiative led by two distinguished gentlemen from BCU becomes profoundly impactful. Known for their empathy and commitment within the cybersecurity society, these individuals recognized the plight of these often-forgotten girls and took it upon themselves to make a difference. Through their dedication, they are offering these young girls not just access to education but a chance to rise above their circumstances. By providing both religious and secular education, this initiative equips these girls with the tools they need to break free from the cycle of poverty, bringing respect and honor to their families. I am proud to support this cause, as it signifies a much-needed shift—a recognition that these marginalized young girls deserve attention and resources just as much as any other group. I invite everyone to show their support in any way possible. Even a simple like or repost helps amplify this message, spreading awareness about the importance of equitable education for all. Together, we can challenge the oversight of large organizations and local communities, contributing to a new era in which every girl, regardless of background, is supported in her right to learn and grow.

As I've shared a few times before, I never in my wildest dreams imagined that we could build a school, let alone a school as beautiful as this one. In the video, you can see Yuri, who is part of Hai and oversees all the construction processes in Kenya. Building something in Kenya as a foreigner is SUCH a big challenge that every day is an adventure. But the important thing is that everything is going perfectly well. Today is a bonus day on Global Giving (the fundraising platform we use), and for every $100 donation, Global Giving donates an additional 40%. It's a donation with high value, but the important thing is to donate, regardless of the amount. In other words, if you want to help us finish the construction, donate any amount to the campaign for our new school. Let's finish the construction of the most beautiful school in Kabiria together <3 https://lnkd.in/dRtv3RnP Ass: Mariana - Hai Africa Founder. #bonusday #globalgiving

How many of you love the allure of fancy numbers for your cars and mobile phones? Charities should be driven by #NEED, not #MONEY, but far too often it’s the other way around. Imagine this: You're in a corporate role, and your boss comes to you and says, "You can only use 80% of your budget on projects we specify, even if it doesn't align with your team's most urgent needs. The other 20% is for you to manage the real problems and innovate as you see fit.” Sounds impossible, right? How can you run a business like that? Well, that’s the reality for many charities. Only 20% of donations are unrestricted, meaning charities are often locked into specific projects based on funder requirements—whether or not they address the most pressing issues. This creates a difficult balancing act between what funders want and what the community actually needs. In the corporate world, flexibility is key to success. But for charities, restricted funding prevents that same flexibility, forcing us to adjust our programs or miss out on critical funding. If we want to make a real difference, we need to rethink how we approach giving. It’s time to give charities the room to breathe and innovate, just like we do in business. Are you ready to be part of that change? #DiaryOfACharityCEO #UAESpeaker #Humanitarian #Leadership #Dubai #Malawi #UK #USA

Karachi being the economic hub also is claimed to be the most philanthropic. I know the charity giving trends here but want to understand what it's like in other major cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar etc. If you're from one of these cities, comment below with who do you give your zakat/donation to? Is it to individuals or organisations or masajids/madressah. If to organisations, which one? Which cause do you relate the most to? #charity #Pakistan #giving #philanthropy #Ramadan2024

Islamic finance experts advise people to choose Sharia-compliant institutions for Zakat and charity. Some organizations collect donations but invest them in interest-based ways, against Islamic rules. Donors should research recipients, especially hospitals and NGOs. They should ask about fund collection, usage, and investments before giving. Organizations should make their financial records public and get Sharia audits. People donate during Ramadan, but they should avoid institutions using interest-based investments. Zakat should go to deserving individuals first, then to organizations. Scholars warn against donating to non-Sharia-compliant organizations. #ShariaCompliantDonations #sparkpakistan

Distributing 220 packets of Rajdhani Suji Packets of half KG weight to our old abandoned widow mothers of Radhakund Vrindavan Donating to an NGO Think Twice Before Lots of people love to donate cash or kind to NGOs. But before donating your hard-earned money please be careful of these few factor 1. Most people like to donate to big NGOs and never analyse whether they require a donation or not 2. People tend to donate to NGOs whose turnover is more than 300-500 crores of rupees, whereas small NGOs doing yeoman services with limited budgets are often ignored and left out. Small NGOs are often questioned about their credential 3.Donors never see demand and supply graph into these NGOs. Most of the NGO located in the Urban areas are getting donation whereas NGOs working in rural and semi urban areas are often ignored. 4. Metro City donors donate to NGOs located in the vicinity of their area, and these NGOs are flooded with cash and goods, whereas NGOs located in far-off areas never get any help and are ignored. There is a huge gap in the demand and supply of NGOs in urban and Rural areas. 5. As per the injunction of the sastra and scripture, if you donate in bad place, you don’t get good results rather get negative reaction. 6.If you are donating to NGOs located for off areas, you can ask for video clips and photos of your donations. Nowadays it is easy to have video conferences with NGOs located in far off areas also. 7.The government must bring strict rules for the corporate companies who keep donating the same NGOs year after year. 8.Donating to a good NGO means you are also helping in the nation-building process and serving humanity to please the Almighty.

👨👩👧 Relationships Matter 👨👨👧👧 Headline: 82% of Canadians donate to charities because they believe in the cause! This statistic underscores the vital role trust and connections have in philanthropy. When we as donors feel a genuine connection to the mission and see the impact of our contributions, our commitment deepens significantly. Not only that, strong relationships between charities and their donors leads to some pretty remarkable benefits: ✅ 50% Increase in Donor Retention: Building and maintaining trust leads to loyal supporters who continue to give year after year. ✅ 23% Increase in Donation Amounts: Engaged donors are not only more likely to stick around but also tend to increase their contributions over time. These numbers highlight a critical insight for both donors and charities and that is... relationships matter. Now, let's go a step further and reflect on the parallel between human-to-human relationships and donor-charity relationships which is striking. Just as our own personal relationships thrive on understanding, trust, and meaningful interaction, so too do our connections with the causes we support as donors. Taking the time to discover and learn more about the charities we support can lead to enduring and successful relationships and who doesn't want that outcome. hashtag #ConnectingGreatPeopleWithGreatCauses #MakingitMeaningful
