How many of you love the allure of fancy numbers for your cars and mobile phones? In the UAE, those eye-catching digits do more than just turn heads—they play a significant role in supporting humanitarian efforts. Ever wondered where that money goes when you purchase a unique number? The UAE cleverly channels these funds into charity through initiatives like the RTA's charity number auctions. Imagine this: you spend millions on a prestigious number, basking in the status it brings, while also contributing to meaningful causes. It’s the perfect win-win! This innovative approach transforms personal aspirations into powerful contributions, proving that individual interests can spark positive change in society. Isn’t it inspiring how something as simple as a number can create a ripple effect of goodwill? Article : https://lnkd.in/dzSawNCi

Charities should be driven by #NEED, not #MONEY, but far too often it’s the other way around. Imagine this: You're in a corporate role, and your boss comes to you and says, "You can only use 80% of your budget on projects we specify, even if it doesn't align with your team's most urgent needs. The other 20% is for you to manage the real problems and innovate as you see fit.” Sounds impossible, right? How can you run a business like that? Well, that’s the reality for many charities. Only 20% of donations are unrestricted, meaning charities are often locked into specific projects based on funder requirements—whether or not they address the most pressing issues. This creates a difficult balancing act between what funders want and what the community actually needs. In the corporate world, flexibility is key to success. But for charities, restricted funding prevents that same flexibility, forcing us to adjust our programs or miss out on critical funding. If we want to make a real difference, we need to rethink how we approach giving. It’s time to give charities the room to breathe and innovate, just like we do in business. Are you ready to be part of that change? #DiaryOfACharityCEO #UAESpeaker #Humanitarian #Leadership #Dubai #Malawi #UK #USA

Have you ever wondered why people bother to attempt and break the Guinness World Record? The answer is simple: achieving a Guinness World Record is a remarkable achievement that sets the record holder apart globally. It showcases exceptional skill, determination, and often contributes to a greater cause, such as raising awareness or funds for charity. It's a testament to human potential and perseverance. People attempt world records to challenge themselves, gain recognition, and sometimes support causes. It's a way to test human limits, achieve personal goals, and often bring attention to important issues or charities. If you're up for the challenge, what Guinness World Record would you attempt to break? Share your thoughts in the comments below! #credit LinkedIn #chessinslum #tundeonakoya #chess #guinessworldrecord

This initiative represents an extraordinary effort to provide young girls in Bangladesh with access to education—a fundamental human right that is, unfortunately, often denied to them due to deeply embedded socio-economic barriers. Education is not merely a privilege but a right recognized globally by the United Nations, which advocates strongly for gender equality in education. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child underscore education as a basic human right, regardless of gender, nationality, or socio-economic status. Additionally, the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all, while Sustainable Development Goal 5 (SDG 5) promotes gender equality, advocating for the empowerment of all women and girls through access to education. Despite these commitments, young girls from impoverished backgrounds in countries like Bangladesh remain tragically overlooked. Many large organizations and charities, though well-intentioned, often direct their resources toward issues they perceive as more immediate, inadvertently sidelining marginalized groups who have little visibility or voice in global discussions. This oversight extends across local communities as well, where deep-seated social norms and economic constraints further limit support for young girls’ education, especially in rural or impoverished regions. As a result, these young girls are left to face overwhelming barriers alone, struggling to access even basic education and denied the chance to improve their lives. This is where the initiative led by two distinguished gentlemen from BCU becomes profoundly impactful. Known for their empathy and commitment within the cybersecurity society, these individuals recognized the plight of these often-forgotten girls and took it upon themselves to make a difference. Through their dedication, they are offering these young girls not just access to education but a chance to rise above their circumstances. By providing both religious and secular education, this initiative equips these girls with the tools they need to break free from the cycle of poverty, bringing respect and honor to their families. I am proud to support this cause, as it signifies a much-needed shift—a recognition that these marginalized young girls deserve attention and resources just as much as any other group. I invite everyone to show their support in any way possible. Even a simple like or repost helps amplify this message, spreading awareness about the importance of equitable education for all. Together, we can challenge the oversight of large organizations and local communities, contributing to a new era in which every girl, regardless of background, is supported in her right to learn and grow.

Lately there has been much talk about how much a charity can do with $1.00. Don't worry, we aren't confused ... we know this isn't a Loonie. However, we DO know that this coin is worth as much (or more) than $1.00. It isn't worth anything in Canada, but through our efforts, we are able to turn this into value that ANY charity in Canada can use! 1 coin is all it takes to start ... 1 coin at a time ... they all add up and many of us have them. But they are sitting in homes and business across the country collecting dust. Let's start collecting and donating them to your favourite charity. Not tomorrow, TODAY! Any Charity, Any Currency, Any Amount #AllCurrencyAccepted

What if you could help a charity by donating your beer cans or wine bottles? What if you could donate your junk car to a charity? How about pop tabs? All of these things can be donated to support your favourite charity ... but none of them have the value that leftover foreign currency can bring! You can't spend foreign coin. You can't exchange foreign coin. But you can donate foreign coin. Global Coin Solutions was built specifically for this purpose ... to help charities turn leftover foreign currency into funds they can use. Global Coin Solutions was also built to put people to work ... and the more charities we help, the more people we need! 1 coin at a time ... it all adds up ... and we can't do anything else with it, so we might as well "recycle" it and help our fellow Canadians! Donate your leftover foreign currency today! Any Charity, Any Currency, Any Amount #AllCurrencyAccepted
