I am acutely aware of how lucky I am to have the incredible support that I have from literally everyone around me. When I got mono and couldn’t continue in my intense schooling, and decided in a couple of weeks to become a nanny (I was debating between a family in California and a family in Luxembourg), my mom, sister, and stepdad asked questions but really jumped at helping me figure out what to do with items so I could pursue that avenue. When I was ready to return to a different school, all aboard the moving train again. Thoughts of attending a recording artist school next? Sure thing, what can we do? Once I finally decided to begin my Mentorship business from home, I said let’s jump! And they all said okay, how high? We’ll try! There are obvious expressions of concern, questions to make sure I’ve throught it through, sometimes even those little comments you wish weren’t made… But, ultimately, they support my decisions good, bad, or in between knowing it’s my choice. You may or may not have that same situation. When growing a business, that support system can be tremendously helpful. The plus side? You can create your own support system if it isn’t already in place. I have certainly added to (and subtracted from) mine. A great place to start is the Mompreneur Success Mentorship. Doing more of what you love ❤️ So much of the time we hold ourselves back from following the fun, creating what lights us up or believing we can do a triple and get paid for it. It’s getting harder and harder to put food on the table. Some know how to grow their own. But some don’t. Some people dare to take risks, reaching out to create value and make a difference in the world. Others, seeking safety in routine, prefer to follow orders and “check the boxes.” Yet, this false sense of security often leaves them feeling trapped in jobs they despise, their true potential left unfulfilled. But I think almost everyone wants to learn and grow. Even though we’re going through a very tough time in history, we’ve also got access to one of the greatest tools ever known to man. A tool that lets us connect with each other all over the world. And I know it’s fun watching cat videos, but we can also use this tool to help each other out. What if we used it to connect, experiment, and find solutions to problems? And once someone figures something out, we openly share it with each other. Through one of the worst times in history, we have one of the greatest opportunities. So that’s my dream: people helping each other all over the world, so much so that one day, we can talk about this and not say “what if.” In the last decade, I’ve been studying, learning, working, and gathering experience in creating and launching online courses. I want to use this wonderful tool we have now to share some of this knowledge to help people be more confident and start “growing their own food.” I started a Skool community to share my insights, and I still don’t know where this is going to end. I want this community to be a place where every member’s contribution is valued, where we collectively figure out solutions to problems and openly share them with each other.
