Most of the information you are getting from sales gurus is already known. You've learned it multiple times. You know it makes sense. But for some reason, you just can't make it work? Often times, it's not the skills, tactics, processes, etc. that is lacking It's usually one or more of the following: -Lack of belief in yourself (don't tie your results to your self confidence). -Assumptions that prevent you from using said tactics and strategies (assumptions kill many things). -No drive to succeed (you just haven't figured out your extrinsic motivational factors yet - find a purpose and mission) Don't default to fixing your sales with more of what is already known. Fix your head space first. Understand that in order to succeed over the long term: +We've got to have a strong reason to do so +We must challenge assumptions that aren't based in reality +We must simply believe we can even when our results don't show it Do that before you pick up another sales book, listen to another sales podcast or go to the next big sales event. #selling
