APM Employment Services’ Post

Is your business making the most of net zero opportunities? Our APM Apprenticeships team recently co-hosted the Take Charge Summit in Melbourne, alongside Workforce Australia - Local Jobs - Inner Metropolitan Melbourne and Empowered Women In Trades (EWIT) Group Australia. This dynamic event was all about paving the way to a net zero economy and exploring the skills and partnerships needed to hit those net zero targets. We had an incredible turnout of employers, educators, industry leaders, and changemakers, all focused on initiatives that elevate net zero understanding, connect employers with green energy incentives, and strengthen collaborations across sectors. Our lineup of inspiring guest speakers included: • Bernadette O’Connor, CEO of Australian Renewable Academy • Linda Li, Head of Partnerships at Tesserent Cyber Security • Owen Chapman, Senior Skills Advisor at Victorian Skills Authority • Renee Briggs-Gordon, National Manager Apprenticeships at APM The event wrapped up with an engaging panel discussion and networking session, giving attendees the chance to ask burning questions and start conversations about the future. Ready to make a difference? As an employer, supporting apprenticeships is a powerful way to build a skilled workforce ready to tackle the challenges of a net zero economy. By partnering with APM Apprenticeships - Apprentice Connect Australia Provider in Victoria - you can access a pipeline of talented apprentices, benefit from green energy incentives, and contribute to a sustainable future.
