The talk will frame this within a larger professional inquest, delving into the contemporary possibilities of design practices -from the object to the urban-, and the fields of action that lie outside conventional purviews. CHAAL.CHAAL.AGENCY is a design-research practice founded by Kruti Shah and Sebastián Trujillo-Torres that works between Mumbai and Bogotá. The nature of their work has allowed them to enquire into issues and potentialities particular to Global South urbanisms as templates for global imaginations, intending to trigger larger transformations and reengineer infrastructural systems through interventions involving visionary clients, allied organizations, and proactive communities.
