At D-Wave, the spirit of invention and innovation is deeply embedded in our culture. This year’s internal D-Wave Hackathon exemplified this ethos, as participants explored the seemingly limitless power of quantum computing to conceptualize new approaches to complex problems. With awards for Best Presentation & Demo, Impact, and Innovation, the Hackathon recognized teams for their creativity and problem-solving in using quantum technology to address real-world challenges. This year’s Hackathon brought together 45 participants, culminating in four award-winners and 10 overall groundbreaking projects that explored practical applications of D-Wave's tech. Several have the potential to become product features, showcase demos, or internal tools.
