This cow is in SHACKLES. 😱 Like John Oberg asks, is THIS the world we want to live in? Where animals are treated like objects? 🥺 This dairy cow has been shackled to prevent her from doing the splits as she has lost control of her back legs. This happens as her exploitation by the dairy industry has put prolonged strain on her body causing birthing difficulties and nerve damage. 💔 Her pain and misery is just the “cost of doing business” to the #meat and #dairy industries. Cows are living, feeling beings, and we can show them compassion, consideration, and respect by going #vegan. 🙏💚 👉 Join the Movement! READ THE CAPTION, THINK ABOUT IT AND COMMENT BELOW 👇 We’d never want to see someone we love endure pain or fear. Yet, many animals face suffering daily for human choices, even though they, too, have families, emotions, and an ability to understand and feel. When we go vegan, we start recognizing animals as individuals with their own lives, not as resources for us to use. This shift in perspective opens our eyes to the unnecessary harm caused to animals who simply wish to live peacefully, just like we do. By choosing a vegan lifestyle, we stand for kindness and respect for all beings, embracing a world that values empathy over exploitation. If you want to know more about the reality animals face in our food system and the impact of these choices, watch Maa Ka Doodh on YouTube, available for free. It's a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of all lives. #vegan #veganism #govegan #animalsarefamily #animalrights #kindnessforall #choosekindness #ethicalchoices #animallove #plantbased

Plants have life, but they don’t feel pain, fear, or joy—they are not sentient. Animals, however, are sentient beings who experience emotions, form bonds, and value their lives just like we do. Every meal or product choice that avoids harming animals is a step towards honoring their right to live freely. Choosing plant-based foods and cruelty-free alternatives isn’t just better for animals; it’s also healthier for us and more sustainable for the planet. Every small decision we make can create a ripple effect of kindness and positive change. Let’s move toward choices that respect all living beings and the world we share. #sentience #animalsarefriends #govegan #plantbasedliving #ethicalchoices #sustainableliving #veganlifestyle #choosekindness #animalrights #plantpower #consciousliving #liveandletlive #bekindtoanimals #veganforlife #crueltyfreechoices

I’ve never been, nor do I consider myself now an "animal lover." I don't geek out over cute animals or rush to pet dogs. you don't need to be an animal lover to be #vegan. you simply have to believe that unnecessarily exploiting and killing animals is wrong. that's it. period. if you believe that, you believe in the core principle of #veganism. given that the science is quite conclusive that (outside of certain extreme examples that are very uncommon in developed countries) we "don't need" any animal foods or products to thrive... the idea that a proper plant-based diet is nutritionally sufficient is not controversial in the scientific community… in fact, there’s a damn strong case that it’s the optimal diet for longevity and performance. the consumption of such products is inherently NOT necessary. and while I don't love animals... I do value their lives, bodily autonomy, and sentience enough to not exploit them for my sensory pleasure. and that's why after a over decade of eating a plant based diet, I am proud to call myself a vegan. no hate. no shade. no shame. no judgement. just want to share my perspective on something that is an important part of my life today on #worldveganday.

While dogs and cats are cherished family members, why do we often overlook the suffering of creatures like chickens in industrial farms? Watch here: 🔗https://lnkd.in/gxzk9Qae Our love for pets reveals a paradox in our treatment of animals. This inconsistency in our moral compass highlights the selective nature of our empathy. Do cultural norms dictate which animals we value and which we consume?🤔 All sentient beings have intrinsic worth, not just those we've chosen as companions. Expanding our circle of compassion to encompass all creatures isn't a sacrifice, but an ethical evolution How can we bridge the empathy gap between beloved pets and farm animals? In this episode of #SustainableTeaWithShreya🎙️,🌏 Shreya Ghodawat Ⓥ engages in a candid conversation with MAYYUR GIROTRA to discuss his choice of turning vegetarian, his love for animals, and the importance of showing equal empathy to all creatures.🐾🐔 #Vegan #Animals #MeatFree #AnimalRights #Awareness #ChooseVegan #Pets #FarmAnimals #CompassionForAll #LoveForAnimals #PetLove #PlantBased #VeganFood #CleanEating #VeganLifestyle #FoodChoices #FarmRights #Empathy #ConsciousEating #Sustainability

What a profound observation! It's common for people to empathize with certain animals, like dogs, while consuming others, like chickens, cows, and fish, without considering their feelings and emotions. This inconsistency is often referred to as "speciesism." Speciesism is a form of discrimination where we attribute different values and rights to different species based on their utility, intelligence, or emotional connection to us. However, research has shown that many animals, including farm animals, are sentient beings capable of experiencing joy, fear, pain, and stress. By recognizing this inconsistency, you're taking the first step towards a more compassionate and inclusive lifestyle. You may consider exploring plant based options or eliminating our consumption of animal products. Every choice counts, and collective action can lead to a more empathetic and sustainable food culture. #animalrights #govegan #veganlifestyle #choosecompassion #vegan #dairyindustry #saveanimals #veganlife

True civilization eludes us as long as we continue to exploit and inflict terror upon other beings for our pleasure and taste. Perhaps cultivating a more civilized attitude begins with a conscientious awareness of what we consume and put into our bodies. Many proclaim, 'I eat everything,' as a mark of simplicity. But consider this: our bodies deserve better than to be receptacles for death, and we mustn't forget the inevitable fate of those bodies. I view my body as my sanctuary, and I am privileged to dwell within it. That's why understanding what fuels our energy and vitality is paramount. Animal products, highly acidic in nature, may compromise our well-being. However, beyond dietary considerations, let's recognize that each act of mindfulness elevates us to a higher plane of existence.
Can we truly call ourselves civilized before we start being kind to the rest of the animals? 👀🐷 Go vegan. 💚 👉 Sign the Pledge to Be Vegan for Life: https://drove.com/.2A4o 🎥 'arthursacres' on IG #compassion #kindess #saveanimals #animallovers #vegan

Choosing a vegan life isn't about elevating ourselves over others, but about recognizing that using animals and animal products is not necessary for our survival. It's a conscious choice to cause the least harm possible. We can thrive without exploiting animals in any form, and every step toward a plant-based life is a step toward a more thoughtful and sustainable future for all living beings. #veganliving #plantbasedlife #animalfreeliving #ethicalchoices #sustainableliving #govegan #veganmovement #crueltyfreechoices #kindnessmatters #chooselove
