"Electric Bikes Will Change Your Life" Thank you all for participating in my post a couple weeks ago before his birthday 🎂 (link in comments) -- "what is the best electric balance bike for a 6 year old boy?" We were super grateful when STACYC Inc. saw the post and sent him a 16eDrive electric balance bike. He is having a BLAST on it! For safety, we are doing this in stages: 1. Unpowered (using the bike without the battery, getting used to how it behaves and how to use the handbrake lever). 2. Training mode (battery installed, power reduced by software). It came in handy as he learned (through experience 😬) not to twist the throttle when dismounting. 3. Regular mode. The video shows the bike and his first couple experiences with it. Day 1 we did unpowered. Day 2 we transitioned to powered and training mode. Days 3+ we are still in training mode, and adding new terrains and environments (different roads, paths, off-road, BMX track).
