This week marks the start of National Inclusion Week, a time to reflect on the importance of creating inclusive environments where everyone can thrive. This year’s theme is, ‘Impact Matters,’ is a powerful reminder that each of us has the potential to make a meaningful difference. At Mewburn Ellis, we’ve recently partnered with Great Place To Work (GPTW) as part of our efforts to collect data about our business culture. The headline results from that GPTW survey were very positive: 🌈 96% believe people are treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation. 🤝 94% feel people are treated fairly regardless of race. 🎭 78% feel they can be themselves at work. Whilst we celebrate these achievements, we also recognise that they are a waypoint rather than a final destination; inclusion is an ongoing journey. This week is therefore a good reminder for us to keep acting on our people’s feedback and, in turn, encourage all our people to reflect on their own impact and think about how they can continue to build an ever more inclusive workplace. We believe that through doing that we’ll achieve genuine, sustainable change. Impact Matters. #NationalInclusionWeek #DiversityAndInclusion #ImpactMatters #Inclusion #WorkplaceCulture #GreatPlaceToWork
