Something that caught my attention this week was that a few large #corporations in the US are reversing the fledgling efforts to establish DEI at the workplace. If the trend grows , this can be a devastating blow to #DEIB efforts worldwide, efforts that were only recently beginning to show some sustained move forward. The pressure on ensuring #merit matters first in businesses is understandable , squeezed as they are by increasing recessionary pressures, but to roll back DEI is probably not the best move IMO. DEI has positive connotations on #Innovation , #problemsolving and #businessoutcomes although they do take time. I hope a midway path is found soon , what are your thoughts?

Remember when Elliot (US firm) had offered £700 million to take over Currys to which Currys refused by saying the offer “significantly undervalued the company and its future prospects”? Well now Elliot came back with a whopping £50 million increase in their offer but that too was turned down by Currys 😯 There is this Take Over Code rules that gives Eliott until 16th March to make a final offer.
