EXCITING NEWS! 🎉🎉🎉
Our colleagues, Chris Waine (Principal Toxicologist), Peter Watts (Toxicology Director) and James Hopkins (Toxicology Director), have been published in Toxicology Research! Over the last 9 months, they have been writing “The cliff-edge of toxicological concern: highlighting the potential issues of an over-reliance on “less-than-lifetime” thresholds”, and earlier this week, the paper was accepted by the journal. We couldn’t be prouder of them – this is an amazing accomplishment. The paper covers:
📌 The background to the use of TTC in risk assessment
📌 How and why you convert a lifetime TTC to a less-than-lifetime value
📌 What can happen if you give too much weight to these values
The kind people at OUP Academic have provided us with a code to gain free access, so please drop us a comment if you’d like to receive this into your inbox 📩
Of course, we’re biased, but we think it’s well worth the read. We’d also love to hear from you if you have read it – let us know what you think! If you’d like to chat through anything with Chris, Pete and James, just send us a message…we know a guy 😉 (or three!).
