To celebrate LM’s 20-year anniversary, a series of videos has been developed to outline aspects of the LM mission. LM’s six goals are: • Goal 1: Protect human health and the environment. • Goal 2: Preserve, protect, and share records and information. • Goal 3: Safeguard former contractor workers’ retirement benefits. • Goal 4: Sustainably manage and optimize the use of land and assets. • Goal 5: Sustain management excellence. • Goal 6: Engage the public, governments, and interested parties. LM’s six-month campaign to celebrate the anniversary began in October and a video will be released in each of the six months to highlight LM’s six goals. Today’s video explains LM’s sixth goal to engage the public, governments, and interested parties. https://bit.ly/48WLpvO #LMat20 #LM20Years

𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 “𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱” 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲! During our all-employee meetings this year, vests were handed out to everyone who has worked at Sargent for six years, meaning each of them has full ownership rights to their Sargent ESOP shares. Sargent employee-owners know that being “fully vested” is about more than just having access to their share of the company’s success when they retire, it’s about knowing that every time they contribute to a win in the field or invest in their fellow employee-owners through mentorship, they’re actively contributing to the success of the company and the retirement funds of their fellow employee-owners. “If someone comes to work in this company, and they put in decades of hard work, they ought to be able to retire with a surplus of dignity.” – Herb Sargent, CEO 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 to Aaron Marable, Brian Fanjoy, Calvin Smith, Casey Flynn, Dana Merrill, Jakob Erskine, Jennifer Gallant, John Madigan, Justin Day, Keith Edgecomb, Nathan Clement, Nicholas Colomy, Nick Stiles, Richard Woodward Jr., Samuel Millett, and Tasha Gardner! #fullyvested #employeeownership #ESOP #celebration #vested #sargent

Continuing-Care Retirement Communities can be a fantastic option for retirees. They have #independentliving #assistedliving and #skillednursing facilities all within the same campus, plus the assurance to provide #longtermcare services as long as the person is alive- even if they run out of money. While this seems like an ideal solution for both couples and singles- there can be a significant risk if the community runs into fiscal problems. This is a fantastic article from Joanne Cleaver for the The Wall Street Journal talking about risks as well as detailed #duediligence families can do prior to entering into an agreement. #financialplanning #aging #retirement
