Building a Content Governance Board? Keep the board small but include key players from various departments, brands, and roles like marketing managers, content creators, legal officers, and IT admins. Here's a simple framework to create an effective Content Governance Board: 1. Recruit Your Worst Offenders: They know the system's weaknesses and can help improve efficiency. 2. Recruit Your Loudest Complainers: They identify pain points and can become advocates for better processes. 3. Appoint a "Devil’s Advocate": This helps avoid groupthink and encourages creativity. 4. Lay Ground Rules: Clear rules of conduct ensure smooth operation and conflict management. 5. Focus on Successes: Build on what works well to inspire collaborative problem-solving. A cross-departmental board ensures comprehensive content governance, focusing on problem-solving and process optimization. Ready to establish your own Content Governance Board?
