3 toxic myths I hear as a modest fashion CEO: 1. It’s for 'oppressed' or 'backward' people 🤦🏼♀️ 2. It’s just for Muslim women 🧕🏼 3. It’s for women living in the Middle East 🇸🇦 But let me set the record straight: 🙋🏼♀️ It’s for any girl who: - Wants to stay stylish while honouring her values. - Loves coverage without compromising beauty. 🙍🏾♀️ It’s for any woman who: - Prefers timeless pieces over fleeting trends. - Seeks comfort and versatility to match her lifestyle. 🤰🏻 It’s for any mother who: - Needs practical yet elegant clothes for her busy days. - Values thoughtful designs that are function and fashion. 😇 It’s for anyone who: - Respects cultural diversity in fashion. - Believes in brands that uplift women. Here’s the point: Modesty isn’t about restriction. It’s about 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲. At SUMAYAH, we’re redefining modest fashion: - To serve, not just sell. - To empower, not restrict. - To include, not exclude. Whether you wear modest fashion for religious reasons, personal choice, or simply because it reflects your values, the message is clear: Modest fashion → Freedom to be who you are.

Did you know your competitiveness level as a child could impact your fashion choices today? What does this look like for you? Let’s find out. As a child, were you very competitive and wanted to win? Or did you support others and didn’t have to win to be happy? What does your answer mean? If you said you cared more about winning, it means you have more “yang” personality attributes. This may mean you will feel more comfortable leaning toward a masculine style. But if you said you preferred supporting others then you probably have more “Yin” attributes and may feel more comfortable leaning towards more of a feminine style. We all have a unique blend of masculine and feminine traits, so there’s always room for mixing and matching. Take the stellar beauty quiz to discover your unique “Stellar Beauty Type” and see how it impacts your personal style. https://lnkd.in/gxxYizEs #style #fashionstyle #bodypositivity #bodypositive #fashionphotography #fashionlover

Personal Aesthetics are the most important form of silent self expression....
🌟 Guiding Executive Women to Profound 💝 Self-Love, Because Self-Contempt Cripples Your Leadership. 🪐 Life Coaching & Astrology for Personal Development.
There is nothing shallow about appearance! 🔴 How you dress and show up in the world is your first line of communication. When you show up in something red, it says something. ⚫️ When you show up in black, it says something else. When you show up in a T-shirt that is worn and torn, it says something. As does a shirt that is ironed – or not. It all says something about you! Clothes, hair, shoes, make-up, it’s all part of a signal system. Sure, Classy Vintage Mastery is about shopping second-hand, but above all it's about personal development, your body and HOW you show up in the world! Next class start next week on Monday, 15th of July. Ask your body: is she ready to be listened to? If so, come join! ********* #UnexpectedPerspectives #PersonalDevelopment #ClassyVintageMastery #ProfessionalWomen #WomenLeadership #FemaleLeaders #SustainableFashion #EcoFriendlyFashion #PersonalStyle #VintageStyle #FastFashion #Fashion

When I look back at my journey, I realize that my love for fashion goes beyond just selling clothes. It started in Plainview, Minnesota, where I grew up surrounded by the simple beauty of farm life. I’ve spent 57 wonderful years here, learning the value of hard work, family, and community. Those lessons inspire everything I do, especially at Magnolia Cottage Boutique. Owning my boutique for over 12 years has been a dream come true! Every day, I get to share my passion for fashion and home decor with all of you. But, what truly excites me is the chance to help women feel confident and beautiful in what they wear. I believe that the right outfit can change your mood and uplift your spirit. I try not to think of my store as just a place to buy clothes I see it as a way to build connections. My goal is to curate pieces that resonate with your style and tell a story. When you find that perfect dress or cozy sweater that makes you feel amazing, it warms my heart. It’s about more than sales, it’s about creating joy and community through fashion. I absolutely love seeing my customers leave with a smile, knowing they’ve found something special. So, let’s celebrate what we wear and how it makes us feel! I’d love to hear from you, what’s that one piece in your wardrobe that makes you feel unstoppable? P.S. Meeting new friends and connecting over fashion is my favorite part of this journey! #WomenInBusiness #EmpoweredWomen #DressForSuccess #ConfidenceInStyle #FashionForRealLife #StyleInspiration #SmallBusinessOwner #MinnesotaBoutique #ProfessionalStyle #AuthenticStyle #PersonalBranding #WomenSupportingWomen #FeelGoodFashion #RetailCommunity #FashionWithPurpose #EntrepreneurLife #ElevateYourStyle #EmpowerYourself #WorkplaceConfidence #BoutiqueLife

Which designer ever looked at a shirt and said let's bedazzle it for the bigger sized customer❗️❓ Genuine question to everyone in the fashion industry, what is it with designers or brands thinking we need to use a black t-shirt with shoulder cut outs and bedazzle it with some glitter or crystals - et voilà the plus size customers are en vogue❓ I can’t help but reflect back to the industry how frustrating it is for the plus size consumer to be confronted with poor fashion choices on the daily. They feel so frustrated about how brands are deciding how a bigger woman should style herself, what she should buy without even thinking about her or consulting her about her wants and needs. Does anyone know when those bedazzled a-line cold-shoulder tops came into style❓ I am honestly interested in debunking this cruelty. Let me know in the comments, how you feel about poor design choices in the industry, and please tag anyone who could have the answer to my question. I need to know. _______________________________________________________ 🔺Connect with me for insights on the size-inclusive fashion industry. #plussize #sizeinclusivity #fashionfail #fashionindustry #BusinessOfFashion #D2C

Size Doesn't Define Style: Let's Embrace Body Inclusivity in Fashion (and Life!) Imagine this: You walk into a clothing store, brimming with excitement to find that perfect outfit. But as you scan the racks, a disheartening truth settles in - limited sizes and styles that leave most people feeling invisible. This isn't just a shopping frustration, it's a reflection of a larger issue: the lack of body inclusivity in fashion. Did you know? In the US alone, over 70% of the population falls outside of "standard" clothing Studies show a strong link between body image dissatisfaction and mental health concerns like depression and anxiety Here's the truth: fashion is for everyone, and feeling confident in what you wear is a powerful tool. It's time to move beyond outdated size limitations and embrace a more inclusive fashion landscape. Why is body inclusivity important? It promotes self-love and acceptance: When everyone sees themselves reflected in fashion, it fosters a sense of belonging and empowers individuals to embrace their unique beauty. It fosters a healthier relationship with food and body image: By celebrating all body types, we can move away from the pressure to conform to unrealistic beauty standards. It's simply good business: A size-inclusive approach opens doors to a wider customer base, allowing fashion brands to truly connect with their audience. Let's rewrite the narrative! Share your thoughts on body inclusivity in the comments below. How can we create a fashion world that celebrates all shapes and sizes? #bodypositivity #fashionforall #sizeinclusive #bodydiversity #joandenizot
