Check out Matthew Farber, Ed.D.’s and his colleagues new free Creative Commons e-book cataloging different TTRPG’s games for learning— I was thinking this would be really cool to feature in the December newsletter. I was wondering if one or two of these could be selected for use during the holiday party — something that would match up the most closely with our frame VR environments. These are kewl! Could we use these tabletop role-playing games for innovation and engagement on the frame VR campus? Maybe they’d be good icebreakers. Or maybe they could be used in game jams at the University Of Montana for XR engagement like the future forum meet ups or something like that? I wonder how easy it would be to feed this PDF to AI and have it match up with our frame VR affordances or to suggest weaving it into events planning of myriad scenarios!
