✨ Industrial Virtual Worlds Day at Stereopsia: A Recap ✨ David Nahon (Dassault System) delivered the opening keynote, emphasizing how XR effectively engages our "reptilian brains" 🧠 for effective training and game-changing industrial applications. The "CONNECT" session featured pitches from 9 European XR ecosystems 🇪🇺, followed by roundtable discussions to identify areas for collaboration among the XR community. 🤝 The "THINK TANK" session on Industry 5.0 explored the human side of XR, highlighting how it can revolutionize human interaction by blending emotion, fun, and functionality into engaging and personalized experiences. 🤔🚀 In the closing session, Luis Bravo Martins (XRSI) painted a captivating vision of virtual worlds 🔮 shaped by how we interact with space, objects, and people in the digital realm. As data grows exponentially, we need to navigate this evolution with a human-centered approach that prioritizes ethics, interoperability, accessibility, and trust. Dans le cadre du DIS 3 (Domaine d’innovations stratégiques) consacré à la conception et à la production agile, Sebastien Nahon et Thierry Jourquin, les deux pilotes de l’Initiative d’innovation stratégique HITT, comptent bien faire percoler ce vocable dans toutes les strates d’activité concernées par la S3 Wallonne | Stratégie de Spécialisation Intelligente. « Notre boulot consiste à mettre en avant ces nouveaux formats digitaux 3D et en temps réel dans le monde de l’entreprise », indique le Dr Sébastien Nahon, directeur du Media Innovation & Intelligibility Lab - MiiL de l’UCLouvain - Université catholique de Louvain. « Mais aussi à amener les entreprises à aller plus rapidement vers la transformation numérique et à adopter ces technologies XR dans leur fonctionnement », précise aussitôt Thierry Jourquin, directeur d'XRintelligence, une entreprise active dans les technologies et les solutions XR dopées à l’intelligence artificielle. « Parce qu’au final, l’objectif est bien d’accélérer le processus de réindustrialisation de la Région grâce à ces nouvelles technologies, qu’on pourrait qualifier de post-digitales. »
