Marketing isn't hard when you're providing more value than your competitors. Last month, we generated 212 positive responses and 110 calls for one of our clients with one campaign. What's the secret? Well... the only way to win in today's outbound landscape is to have relevant messages with a value-forward offer. Our simple formula for success is = create campaigns that focus on building relationships and make you stand out from the 100s of other sales emails prospects get every day. Shoot me a DM if you're trying to see the exact campaign we used to get these types of results, and I'll happily share.

Stop thinking marketing is just there to help sales. That’s not how it works. The company doesn’t trust them to bring in new clients the right way. And marketing can’t do its job well if they don’t have what they need to help clients. Marketing is a partner, not just a helper. If you're serious about closing deals, let marketing come up with ideas that match what clients really want. That'll make it easier for sales to do their job. -- I'm Lianne Stewart. 👋 Follow me if you want to dial in your marketing messaging.

MARKETING HOUR! In various roles I’ve had marketing hour in sales teams diaries. A dedicated time for them to undertake the various activities we’re always asking them to do - and time kept clear in marketing’s diaries so we can be on hand to help. 🔥 Writing linkedin content 🔥 Recording videos 🔥 Jobs on the website 🔥 Interviewing clients 🔥 You get the gist If you haven't got a marketing hour and are struggling with sales and marketing alignment, then get one. But remember that it’s just a stepping stone. You want to create an environment where this isn't needed because sales and marketing are on the same page. It doesn’t need, and shouldn’t be confined to, an hour. But it’s a great tactical place to start as you implement a wider strategy. If you’re struggling with sales and marketing engagement, get in touch and I’ll happily share some ideas.

As a founder wearing the marketing and sales hats, it is exhausting to feel like you're "always on." But here's the thing. It's your marketing that is supposed to be always on. Not you, yourself, in body, mind, and spirit. Marketing (and the messaging that informs it) is a system that is designed to support your revenue goals. What would it feel like to know your marketing is working on your behalf, every day, generating results you can literally count ($$)? If your marketing isn't doing the heavy lifting to get you predictable, qualified sales conversations, let's chat for 30-minutes and see how you can make it work harder for you (sales-pitch free). DM me for a link.

There's so much noise on LinkedIn lately about what marketing is and is not... Marketing is NOT Sales. They’re partners, yes—but they’re not the same. Here’s how marketing sets the stage: → Builds brand awareness before the buyer even realizes they’re interested. → Creates trust with consistent, valuable content that speaks to real needs. → Stays top of mind because your ICP isn't always ready to drop a dime. → Drives (not create) demand that sales teams can turn into revenue. Marketing lays the groundwork. Sales closes the deal. But none of this matters if there is no product/market fit. Marketing is a long game that fuels sustainable growth— not just quick wins. Marketing. Takes. Time.

I've just seen the hundredth post about "𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗱 (𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗸) 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴" I find it problematic and who knows maybe it will become another gospel for course sales... But here's my two cents.. please don't take it at face value... while one can work without the other, it would lead to major problems 𝐈𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭. Selling complements marketing by converting leads and providing feedback that informs marketing strategies. ────Selling in the absence of marketing would lack direction and efficiency. Why?

Imagine what it would be like if only your product or service were perfect. If everything went smoothly, the client had no objections, and what you offer was much better than the competition. Wouldn't it be easier then? Wouldn't marketing even be simpler then? Imagine, the client leaves after a quarterly review meeting, your employee goes to sleep peacefully, and your client goes to tell their friends how wonderful what you offer is. Then even collecting feedback becomes easier. And when there's social proof, closing every sale becomes easier. And when closing every sale is easier, sales are larger. Simple. So think about how you can make your work easier in terms of marketing. Then the whole process becomes easier. --- Follow me to finally increase your sales! Salespeople say they’re too busy for marketing. I get it. But what if marketing could actually make your job easier? I’ve seen it happen. At a company I worked with, sales teams were drowning in repetitive questions and leads that weren’t ready to buy. They felt stuck, overwhelmed, and frustrated. Then, everything changed. We shifted focus to becoming the top educational resource in the industry. We answered the questions buyers were already asking. The results? → Leads arrived informed and ready to buy. → Sales conversations became smoother. → Close rates improved. Here’s the truth: when sales and marketing align to build trust through content, everyone wins. Yes, it takes commitment—but the transformation is worth it. If you’re ready to explore this approach, let’s talk. I’d be happy to share ideas to get your team started. What’s holding your team back from giving it a try? Let me know in the comments!

Let’s talk about MARKETING” Marketing isn't just about sales. It's about understanding the customer and delivering what they desire. It's about growth, learning and adapting to the changing market. It's about being courageous enough to change your own products or services if they no longer serve your customers. Marketing is also about patience. It takes time to understand your market and build a loyal customer base. So, don't rush things! Love and friendship are at the heart of marketing too. Nurturing these relationships creates advocacy for your brand or product, leading to long-term success. Finally, remember that your customers are people with emotions. They might buy based on logic but remember their emotions too! Thanks for joining this marketing journey!
