An epidemic of violence against women in Türkiye has sparked protests nationwide, demanding justice and real protection for those at risk. The tragic femicides of Aysenur Halil and Ikbal Uzuner are heartbreaking reminders of the urgent need for action. Despite existing laws, a lack of enforcement leaves countless women in danger. We cannot ignore the voices calling for change , Türkiye must take a stand against femicide, and the world must do the same. #Politics4Her#EndFemicide #JusticeForWomen #NoMoreSilence #ProtectWomen #Politics4Her

We have assisted StopAntisemitism.org with legal issues, and anti-Israel activists seems to flock to complain about them. What is this organization doing? When individuals engage in #antisemitism, they are called out for it. No doxxing, simply bringing their actions to a bigger spotlight. That has lead to consequences for those anti-Israel activists relating to jobs and schools. Rather than blame the messenger, those engaging in such discrimination against #Jews should decide if their actions, such as ripping down signs of Israelis held hostage, and/or glorifying Hamas, is worth the potential penalty. As the saying goes, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Just to exapand a bit on this, the entire article was an attempt to smear the incredible work of StopAntisemitism.org. The title of the article is the best example... StopAntisemitism.org doesn't expose those who criticize Israel. When people say things like "I don't approve of Israel's XYZ", it's not an issue. When people do things like accuse Jews of being settler-colonialists who have no right to self determination or deface a Jewish center on a university campus, that's what StopAntisemitism.org publicizes. The author of the article had an agenda to do the exact thing that he accussed StopAntisemitism.org of doing (which it doesn't do): Silence those who seek to expose the truth about hate. The initial draft of the article was far worse than the version that was published, and the one that was published really is nothing more than complaining about opinions being expressed on other opinions. Just as terror supporting bigots have a right to opine on Jews and Israel, activist groups have a right to opine on bigots.

Protests are a principal fault-line where State power and citizen’s #HumanRights meet. As authoritarianism rises globally, so do protests for democracy and the use of #PoliceBrutality and other #torture and ill-treatment by State security forces. How best to safeguard against #torture and other ill-treatment and protect #HumanRights during protest? And on International Women’s Day, how to better protect, across the world, women protesters against sexual and gender-based violence, amounting to #torture and other ill-treatment? 👉 When? Friday 8 March at 2pm CET 👉 Where? Online: https://lnkd.in/ehGmNJAU 👉 Who? Clement N. By now, I am sure all of you have heard about the tragic suicide....or as Bushnell put it himself "an extreme form of protest" because he no longer wanted to be complicit in genocide, outside of the Israeli Embassy in D.C. It is a terrible loss of human life.....where a man thought the only way to get people's attention or for them to understand the gravity of the atrocities committed by the IDF supported by the U.S Government, was to light himself on fire. Nobody does that for "fake news"....nobody does that for propaganda. People take such extreme measures when they believe in a truth. It is extremely unfortunate that Aaron Bushnell, an active duty member of the U.S Air Force felt compelled to take this action.....and may he rest in power. But his life and dying protest must serve as a wake-up call for not only authorities and Governments to push for a ceasefire (as opposed to veto-ing it), and for people around the world, especially Americans to make an effort to seek and speak truth. Don't be blinded by your media and your government, because the smart ones among us know that our governments in their pursuit for money and power will do anything to maintain the status quo. Ordinary human beings who value freedom, justice, liberty, and dignity for ALL, must speak up now. I don't expect anyone to catch a flight and go face-to-face with IDF in Gaza, but we must do what is in our power. Use your voice and keep talking about the truth. Keep calling your reps. Show them you are watching their every decision (or lack of). There are blatant attempts to censor, silence and ban Palestinian journalists and pro-palestine activists, why do you think that is so? And why do you think, now more than ever, you need to seek truth? Because it will matter now. Not decades from now, when your new government will talk about reparations.... P.S: I know many of you prefer to see LinkedIn for professional opportunities, and many of you are troubled by protestors blocking your highways or streets delaying wherever you need to go, but just stop to think, that none of what we do in life matters, if we failed an entire people. The jobs we do, the money we make, none of it matters if we dehumanize certain people and justify genocide. So, sorry-not-sorry if you are bothered seeing such news on your timeline. What we are witnessing in Palestine should be bothersome for all. #FreePalestine

Global protesters are active online, sharing, supporting Palestinian efforts, and staying engaged. While governments are not making efforts to help the people whose death toll has reached 28.000 they are supporting the ones responsible for that death toll. Users online are not asking their countries to start a war to take control of a region; they are asking them to help end the violence. What are effective strategies for protesters to urge governments to prioritize a ceasefire? Read the article of Lydia Alaiadi for Labiba.org #socialmedia #middleeast #geopolitics #ceasefire #gaza

Today during Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, Pro-Palestinians sat on the ground, locking arms and chanting "Free, free Palestine!" We've seen the same protesters before burning the American flag. These extreme popular changes will lead to the creation of sectarian and ethnic conflicts among the American people. Some of them will use force to impose the Sharia law in our American constitution. An example of this is the two terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah who control Gaza and Lebanon. The question is to our US government, politicians, NYPD, and law enforcement: Are you aware of what these extremist protestors are doing and what are they planning to do? How will we confront this danger facing our country? Freedom is for civilized people and not for extremists' people who hate America and chant Death to America.

This is the ‘Tiananmen Square’ of the West Keep up the good work by speaking out against those who are diminishing our civil liberties This a typical example of erosion of our civil liberties - riot police crack down on top university students peacefully protesting Following Netanyahu speech saying the US needs to intervene and stop these students. No surprise then, that’s exactly what they US did! Clearly they don’t like the impact these peaceful marches are having. After shutting down every life line for the Palestinians, food water, hospitals and even UNRWA They now want to shut down peaceful protest that appeals to humanity’s conscience and common sense. Don’t let politicians use us as pawns to support Zionism and undermine our peaceful pluralistic co-existence, our democracy. The world knows these are peaceful demonstrations stop taking us for fools. Stop aiding genocide Stop supporting Zionism, supplying the worlds most advanced warfare, tested on Palestinians Stop constraints on our civil liberties Stop controlling the public’s private information to track and exploit weaknesses Stop forcefully shutting down peaceful student demonstrations at top universities Stop damaging student careers Stop hacking protesters Stop labelling Muslims ‘Islamist extremist’ in the media, ostracising millions of law abiding tax paying citizens, this is highly offensive. Extremism exists in all communities , stop demonising, dehumanising Muslims, singling them out Stop thinking the public are dumb fools There are far more people, with intelligence out there than these few greedy bigoted politicians that want to police the world and fill their pockets with gold! Stop endangering the future of world security Stop colonialism and occupation Stop terrorising our students and activists forcing them to stop, they are the future. Stop the social conditioning that encourages hate and division Stop! Stop! This awful genocide🕊️✌️🇵🇸 Support our students, the best minds in the world ! March for freedom, speak for freedom and stand by our democracy. That is the right thing to do, it is after all about every one of us and the kind of world we want to live in. A peaceful one, where co-existence means stability and ingenuity. Ultimately our human survival as a species, depends on it. These bright minds know that peace is the only way🕊️ Don’t let the sneaky politicians drum up fear, drip by drip day by day (psychological warfare) Media coverage that blinds us with spin, misinformation and disinformation ,till we are all dizzy with fear. That’s control, be sure not to fall for exaggerated lies. Navigate yourself through these choppy waters, have a daily diet of varied news from across the globe and find your truth. The “them and us” mentality is harmful to peaceful co-existence. We have to be sure that we are not being manipulated by a political plan to undermine our ability to critically think. #Gaza #Freedom #Genocide #Palestinians
This week at UCLA, police attacked the peaceful Palestine Solidarity Encampment. The night prior to the raid, police had stood idly as zionists launched metal objects and explosives at the peaceful protestors. CODEPINK LA members had been there all week supporting the students. This is what they saw on the night of the raid. More than a hundred people were arrested, and police attacked peaceful protestors with tear gas, rubber bullets, and pepper spray. “We need to get rid of this system. How are people still so blind to this? This police state that protects racism, Zionism, and racism - is the system. They are the thugs, gangsters, and bullies." — Glo, our member who suffered injuries during the encampment attacks. We will continue to stand with these brave students until liberation.
