If you book 0 meetings with cold email, you should stop now and do this instead: 7 deadly sins you must avoid 1. Long, CAPS subject lines 2. About "You" first sentence 3. Sending +150-word-long emails 4. Pitch slapping with 0 value added 5. No clear reason what's in it for them 6. Starting with "hope this email finds you well" 7. Asking for 30 minutes of their time in the CTA Instead: ↳ Mobile-friendly ↳ Use social proof ↳ Value-based CTA ↳ Avoid attachments ↳ Trigger-led openers ↳ Avoid spammy words ↳ More "You" and "Your" ↳ Use 6th-grade language ↳ Add a POV or a resource ↳ Build niche/targeted lists ↳ Use interest-based CTAs ↳ Use a conversational tone ↳ Use 1-3 word subject lines ↳ Test different sending times ↳ Avoid jargon and buzzwords ↳ Use relevant triggers or intents ↳ Focus on benefits, not features ↳ Highlight urgency without pressure ↳ Include a PS line for additional impact If you want a higher reply rate than 0% Don't send the same as the other 2 billion sellers.
