"bechna shuru karo, saare raaste khul jayenge" This was a quote a CEO said to us when we were debating endlessly on product, GTM and other plans for over a day! and I have taken this to heart! As you sell, you get customer feedback, you make revenue, you figure out how real your strategies are! Every trivial thing is left in the dust, the product feature you debated a few hours for? Guess what, the customer loved something else and didn't even look at it! The ad language you tirelessly didn't take live? The customer read something entirely else and resonated with your brand! Sales solves all ills is the mantra to live by and boy does it get reinforced everyday! #sales #strategy #start
Selling is where the real learning begins. It cuts through the noise and reveals what really matters.
Nothing can be truer than this :)
That CEO really dropped some wisdom on you. Sales are key, man.
Simpler words with hidden apically.

7moI agree Ajay Pal Singh Sethi, having started my career with a B2C product (later B2B) wherein I was constantly talking to my end users and understanding their feedbacks - I had new ideas for product improvement every single hour, each day! No better person to help the product team improve their product than a sales guy! I feel every product team should block 2-3 hours/week for a sales adventure.
