It's very difficult to contact you. Every time I call you i need to wait 45 minutes and I am calling you from USA and I sent an email and took you 1 week to reply. You must have very bad KPI regarding customer service.

Imagine watching a life orientation video before entering the world, much like the safety instructions we have to watch before every flight.
But this life briefing video reveals something eye-opening: you will have only about 5,200 weeks to live - just over 36,000 days. And there’s no perfect step-by-step to make the most of it.
Each day you wake up, it’s not just one more day of life; it’s one less day of living.
That’s the core message from the video “When This Number Hits 5200 - You Will Be Dead,” recommended by Flavio Caetano. Link to the video in the comments.
As described in the book Die With Zero, we rarely have life resources - time, wisdom, money, and energy - all at once. And it's a challenge figuring out how to balance them in each phase, ensuring we live fully with what we’ve got before time runs out...
Are we at least working to find your balance?

(1/2) I'm writing a two-part series to explain how I set and achieve my personal goals. Keep in mind, this doesn't always guarantee success, but it does set up a framework that increases the likelihood of progress.
In a year, I can typically achieve 2-3 large goals, with each taking about 90-120 days to set up and initiate. Once in motion, it becomes a habit, making room for other pursuits. Starting is usually the hardest part, but how do I choose these goals?
I select goals based on their long-term impact and ease of sustainability. I consider three main areas of life:
1. Career progress
2. Health and wellbeing
3. Financial wellbeing
I evaluate each category based on its immediate importance. For instance, this year, I feel the need to plan my finances and improve my overall health. I delve into what these goals mean for me personally, set objectives based on my understanding, and start learning about possible actions. These goals then evolve into projects and, if necessary, become habits or are completed. A single area can have multiple projects, extending the timeframe.
Meaningful impact requires time investment. Thus, the 90-120 day start-up period is essential for some goals. Any shorter period makes it difficult to achieve significant outcomes.
The details of how I achieve these goals will be discussed in my next post, where I'll share my approach to tackling ambiguous and often challenging goals.
Stay tuned for the next part of this coming up on Wednesday at 11am :P

(2/2) This is the second part of my goal-setting and achievement framework. If you missed the first post, you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/d_Bgmvt9
There are typically four key elements to achieving any goal, particularly those that involve venturing into unknown territory. Here's a simple approach to ensure you're on the right track:
1. Expert Guidance: Finding the right guidance can be a challenge. For example, if your goal is to get fitter, you'll need to find someone who can guide you in both nutrition and exercise. Identifying the right expert requires research or personal experience, but it's a crucial step. Wasting time and money on poor advice can be detrimental. If you can't find the right guidance, you might need to learn and experiment on your own while continuing your search for an expert.
2. Discipline: Once you've secured the right guidance, maintaining discipline is essential. Achieving goals requires consistent effort over time. Discipline doesn't imply you won't fail or always enjoy the process, but it means you persist despite challenges, which eventually pays off.
3. Sacrifice: Achieving a goal often requires sacrifices. For example, getting fit might mean giving up certain foods or committing to a daily step goal. It's a non-negotiable part of the process. You'll have to consider the sacrifices and their potential impact on you and those around you when pursuing a goal.
4. Cost: Undoubtedly, cost is a significant factor. However, it's crucial to understand that the outcome often outweighs the financial aspect. Therefore, even though establishing a budget and understanding the overall cost implications before commitment is important, remember that money is a means to achieve the goal. Therefore, focus on outcomes, not just costs.
And that’s it. I tried something new this time around and not sure how many of you enjoyed it, but if you did, do let me know in the comments below if it added any value to you in any way 🙂

Discretionary time
After fulfilling the necessary tasks and obligations, consider how you’re making use of your discretionary time. Look for activities and priorities that enhance and affirm your life, and all of life.
It’s simple to know whether you’re being productive or not based on the results you obtain. It’s a good bit more subjective to determine whether you’re creating genuine fulfillment in your life.
Nonetheless, years of experience have shown you what adds meaningful substance to your existence and what doesn’t. Pay attention, and with your discretionary time do more of whatever injects real richness into your world.
What was enjoyable before is usually enjoyable again. But be careful not to get into such a pleasant, comfortable rut that the joy loses all its essence.
Deepen your fulfillment by expanding the territory in which you experience it. Make life’s goodness even more valuable by using it to bring new goodness into being.
With the time that’s yours to schedule and utilize, enrich your life and the lives around you. Live life at its best by continuing to make it even better.
— Ralph Marston
Extraordinary how much time is spent thinking about how our time should be spent.
Spending your time planning how to spend your time can be valuable. But it can easily, quietly become an overly-sophisticated way to procrastinate.
If the time you spend planning your time outweighs your time doing the time-spending, it might be worth asking if your life is actually more of a theoretical life.
Taking time off to recharge is essential for maintaining productivity and creativity, and for many of us, that involves delving into some incredible books. While on vacation, our minds may still be actively engaged in learning and growth. Feeding our minds with diverse perspectives and knowledge is key to personal and professional development.
Returning refreshed and rejuvenated, ready to tackle new challenges with renewed vigor is the ultimate goal, and I can't wait to share some book recommendations with you all upon my return.

Plan your life before someone else does…
A bit late to get this fully finalised this Year but at least it’s done before we go away to Europe.
Honouring Entrepreneurs' Organization Melbourne, Family Business Association (AU) & Family Business Association (NZ) & Business Blueprint events as a major supporter of all of these peer organisations.
But also honouring my family & my health (mental & physical).
The work I do is hugely rewarding but it also takes a lot of energy so I need to take time out to be at my best.
I got called out today by a client (thanks Chuck!) for showing frustration, which is something I try really hard not to do.
It’s driven by a passion to see them be the best they can be but I’m sure there’s an element of being a little bit tired after some pretty stressful, major events over the last 2 weeks.
And that’s not good enough!
So, planning my year so that I get enough downtime is key.
Haven’t put in most of our client sessions in yet, which is 125 days per year with the current clients, but Dashania Lingham will work on this over the next few days & then we’ll see what capacity I have for new work 😁
Do you plan your life & your year out?
How do you do it?
PS: I have electronic versions of all of this but I like the visual that the wall planner provides.
PPS: Huge thanks to Scott Rusnak for teaching me how to do this 💖
For many vacation starts today!
And it is the perfect time to reflect. Not only on what you've done so far, but more importantly, where you want to go.
Here is 5 simple steps to guide your reflection and planning going forward:
1. Brainstorm/Mindmap: Jot down all your ideas and aspirations.
2. Set Up Your Top 5 Goals: Identify your main objectives.
3. Break Them Down: Divide your big goals into smaller, manageable steps.
4. Make a Plan: Decide what you will start with after vacation (because you also need to recharge during vacation) and set timelines.
Remember, it's all about where you want to go and who you want to become.
