"AI integration in your company isn't about IT...it's about human behavior change, it's a people issue." I recently heard this quote from Kian Gohar (teacher of leadership teams on AI and the future of work) on a great podcast (https://lnkd.in/gipamArd) about how companies can better use AI. He makes the point that technology is only as effective as how humans apply it. As we invest in technology, we must invest in supporting our employees for effective innovation in its application. How? Below are a few tips Kian shared. - Foster a culture of curiosity and learning - Give upskilling training workshops for your team - Leaders lead by example by showing/talking with employees about how they are using it (perhaps start with something personal as a first step) - Identify AI champions in various departments (not just IT) and encourage/support them through experimentation - Identify pilot use cases and then report back to the larger team about benefits and lessons learned - Encourage it's use as a brainstorming partner How are you fostering innovation in your workplace?

“And from an organisational perspective is making sure that you've got all levels of the organisation on board to consider the adoption and how do you do it safely is really important. Something that can't be accelerated from the perspective of, I know from the experience of having gone through an initial rollout of this, the initial thinking from executives and the like is benefits and how do we make things go faster or get efficiencies in various teams, which is all good. It's a good reason to be exploring technology, but at the same point, think it's the biggest thing for me is it's not something that can be pushed too fast.
