When Red Consultancy developed a new hybrid working model, they knew their workplace needed to change. We stepped in to deliver this tranquil space to align with their brand, their people and their clients. 👉 8,500 sq/ft 👉London 👉Office Refurbishment 👉 PR & Media 👉 7 Weeks Balancing budget, scope and tight timelines, we crafted a concept which Red Consultancy adored. For transparency and clarity developed a comprehensive design package, including detailed drawings and realistic CGIs. Our project delivery team then executed the full scope in just 7 weeks, minimising disruption with a hybrid working program that allowed Red to maintain productivity and client engagement throughout the refurbishment. By transitioning to an open plan layout, we optimised space efficiency, enabling Red to consolidate from 3 floors to 2, resulting in significant cost savings. The new design features strategically placed drop-in areas for informal meetings, enhancing communication across the organisation. Biophilic elements such as natural finishes and planters were integrated throughout, creating a refreshing and inviting atmosphere. A standout feature of the refurbishment is the all-new breakout space, complete with a teapoint, expansive collaboration areas, comfortable seating for relaxation, and a stylish drinks bar. Designed with dark greens, clean marble accents, and striking graphics, this area serves as a focal point that appeals to both staff and clients, fostering an environment that attracts and retains talent. BOMA Edmonton has hosted a very interesting presentation by Michele Roach, from Wolski Design Group Ltd, about Offices 2025 & Beyond. What I take home: offices today, to succeed bringing employees back to the office, have to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the different people working styles and needs depending on the task: silent work spaces; collaboration spaces, formal and informal; spaces to relax; spaces to take calls without disturbing your coworkers... Michelle's sentence I totally identify with: "We are in the business of change" Meaning that we can spend more time managing changes to the design requested by the client, than in the actual design.
