BOMA Edmonton has hosted a very interesting presentation by Michele Roach, from Wolski Design Group Ltd, about Offices 2025 & Beyond. What I take home: offices today, to succeed bringing employees back to the office, have to be flexible to accommodate the needs of the different people working styles and needs depending on the task: silent work spaces; collaboration spaces, formal and informal; spaces to relax; spaces to take calls without disturbing your coworkers... Michelle's sentence I totally identify with: "We are in the business of change" Meaning that we can spend more time managing changes to the design requested by the client, than in the actual design.

Oktra undertook the refurbishment of two buildings in London and Hove for Legal & General.                                                                                                              Our design embraced a theme of bringing the outdoors inside, utilising natural materials like concrete and plants, complemented by a neutral colour scheme with muted tones of their brand colours in the furniture finishes and artwork to create a refreshing atmosphere.   The redesign of the two office spaces not only revitalised their workspace but also sets a new standard in design that supports their modern work dynamics, employee wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.
