Last night, I had the pleasure of attending Shit Pitch, and it was definitely one of the more unique experiences in the startup scene. As someone who’s been to countless networking events, this one stood out for its mix of creativity and humor. It was refreshing to hear pitches that didn’t take themselves too seriously but still sparked some interesting conversations. As part of the event, and a fun exercise included in the sign-up process, I got to submit my own idea, CloudScape—a personal on-demand cloud for dramatic exits. It was a fun reminder that sometimes, thinking outside the box means not having a box at all. #ShitPitch #StartupLife #CreativeNetworking #AISolutions
Investors of all types are welcome to join us at Shitpitch next week in Dallas. A disruptive networking event to showcase a select few Founder's adaptability and communication skills, with a fun twist! Proud to have Harmonious!

🎉 Happy birthday Primerli 🎉 Five years ago, I took a leap of faith, leaving behind comfort and security to pursue an entrepreneurial dream with Primerli. The idea was simple: make learning content as engaging as TV content. Certainly, my fellow entrepreneurs warned me about ‘the grind,’ and boy, were they right. I've been turned down more times than I could remember by clients, investors, and even potential employees. On top of it all, our financial projections didn't foresee the curveball of a global pandemic hitting us one year into our launch. It has been absolutely the toughest journey of my life. But it’s also been the most rewarding, only second to being a parent. We receive messages every day from professionals around the world sharing how Primerli helped them with their sales pitches or client engagement. Empowering people to be better at what they do while giving them an incredible experience is what makes the fight worthwhile. Five years on, Primerli stands tall as the go-to industry learning solution in the consulting world and gaining traction among the big tech firms. As I look ahead, I feel the same way I did on day 1. This is just the beginning, and the best is yet to come. Here's to many more years of empowering individuals and shaping the future of online education with Primerli!

Ever wondered why founders tell me the HTX Founders event is their fave event to attend? Its simple - it comes down to just 4 things: 1. Curated Guest List 💌 I only invite Founders, CEOs of tech companies. 2. Unique Venue 🏢 We host our events at a stunning rooftop speakeasy in Downtown Houston. You even need a password to get in! 3. Personalized Approach✨ Sometimes we're too focused on automation when a personalized approach makes the difference. See someone hasn't RSVP'd? Send them a personal message 4. Icebreakers ❄ Icebreakers help facilitate meaningful connections and conversations. ---- Who's a tech founder in the Houston area that we should know? 👀 Tag them in a comment so we can get them a drink at the next party! Reply or DM and we will invite a few more folks to come hang this Wednesday, March 6 from 6-8PM Please share to your Houston friends, it will be fun 🎉

✨ What We Didn’t Say at SF Tech Week ✨ I joined Austin Hughes 🤝 Unify, Han Wang Mintlify, and Robert Eng Pylon at their new office to talk about our Series A journey during SF Tech Week (Big fan of the socks + flip flops Robert!). It was a fantastic panel discussion about milestones, pre-empted rounds, and the shiny highlights of building and scaling startups. BUT here’s what we didn’t cover: How to expedite VC due diligence—and why it's key to 'get back to building' ASAP 💡. • Protect your customers: Centralize references. If VCs start using expert networks like Tegus to contact your customers without your consent, ask them to push back. We've done it. • Stay in control: Share sensitive info only when necessary—and on your timeline. • Move fast: Create urgency by running a competitive process. Tight timelines keep everyone motivated. And stating the obvious: • Data matters: Share key metrics *but* above all add metrics that matter to you (Lago is open-source, so community engagement were key as well!), and make it visual—clean dashboards > spreadsheets. 📄 Want a one-pager summarizing these tips? Drop a comment below, and I’ll share it with you! Thanks again to Pylon for hosting and huge thanks to Yoko Li for being an amazing moderator and keeping the conversation insightful and engaging!

Ready player One Rounding out an exceptional year of growth, right before I hit the snooze button, to spend time with family. Today I want to start with the concept of “aligned action”. This year everything I did, every seemingly disparate thing , was aligned to my goal of building The Humanists Collective … …from the ground up, as a community, as an idea generation factory as well as an accountability insitute for burnt out founders, professionals and creators. Who am I? Many new connections have recently joined me on our shared journey, so I wanted to give a quick background on why I show up on your feed 🤣 I am a former techie PM, in the cloud infrastructure/integration space, with a wide experience across finance and consulting. I was let go in October 2022 (self inflicted) and I set out on an epic journey through many many countries to “find my why” and ended up finding 📌Community 📌Friends 📌Partnerships 📌Humanity at its best This year was a capstone of sorts, with me launching my community, attending two Nas Summit , visiting war time Israel, having mind bending conversations around AI, tech founders, leaning into my craft (writing) and building an academy from ground up. The AIXR celebratory night was a perfect way to round out an exceptional year. My journey is all about charting my own path, as the wayfinder. My path does not have to look like someone else’s, and it gets easier with friends and community! 📌You will go faster alone, but farther with friends📌 If you feel so inclined, I invite you to a shared journey, where we break open our curated realities and explore what success truly means. Together. My pre holiday update to my community is in the links as well as a way to join the community! Hope you join me. 💕 We at the Humanists collective wish you and yours a great holiday season. Remember to breathe, relax and be grateful for what you have. Time for hustling will come, but it’s not now. Signing out!
