Product Review Integration This article will give you guidance on how to import your product reviews from the third party platform to TikTok Shop through TikTok Shop Seller Center. Preparation Tips 1) Which merchants can use this feature? This feature can only be used by sellers who already have a Yotpo account and existing reviews. 2) Which products can import reviews? Product reviews are imported based on the Identifier Code. Therefore, before importing reviews, please ensure that your products on TikTok Shop have entered the correct Identifier Code. If the Identifier Code information is inconsistent, the import of product reviews will fail. 3) Which reviews can be imported? TikTok Shop seller fees are reducing from 6% to 3% through EOY for all Shop Ads: - Product Shopping Ads (PSA) - LIVE Shopping Ads (LSA) - Video Shopping Ads (VSA) Interesting pivot by TikTok... Seller fees were supposed to increase to 8% by now, yet it seems margin compression is very real. When the TikTok Shop algorithm updated in the past few months, ad dollars became absolutely necessary to scale on Shop. Add on affiliate commission payouts and brands have questioned how they can gain room for profit. This 3% delta will directly be added back to each brand's bottom line. I also wanted to be Affiliate myself but I guess I am good at taking care of tiktok shops for now. Content creation is another game for another day. [NEW LAUNCH🚀] Co-Funded Free Shipping Program & Commission Rate Increase Dear Sellers, TikTok Shop is committed to enhancing the seller experience with continuous platform improvements and added functionalities. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are excited to announce two new initiatives launching in September 2024: **1. Commission Fee Increase** To support our growth plans and investment in campaigns and affiliate programs, the Commission Fee will increase from 5% to 9% starting at 00:00 on September 2nd, 2024 (UTC). This rate is inclusive of applicable taxes, including VAT. However, we offer incentives to potentially lower the Commission Fee for certain sellers: - **New Sellers**: Enjoy a 0% commission rate for up to 90 days by completing the Seller Mission (upload full product catalogue and create an affiliate open plan) within 45 days of onboarding. - **Category Reductions**: Sellers in the Electronics or Collectibles categories with a minimum average Shop Performance Score of 4.0 over the last 90 days may benefit from a reduced rate of 5%. - **Content-Based Reductions**: Sellers completing specific content-based Seller Missions can enjoy further reductions: - Sales from short videos: 7% - Sales from livestreams: 5% **2.
