I wanted to share my thoughts about #GenZ. There is a lot of controversy about Gen Z being lazy or demanding, whereas I see this generation as an opportunity to innovate. Regardless of which generation you belong to, there is no question that the changes being suggested and implemented benefit everyone. If Covid-19 taught us anything, it was that with the trust and collaboration of your team, you can innovate quickly and effectively, work flexibly and ultimately find unique strategies to achieve success. As promised, it is our absolute joy to reveal: (Drum roll, please….) Regenerate – our mission to integrate Gen Z into the workforce and create knowledge sharing across generations. Here’s the situation: Baby Boomers are increasingly eligible to exit the workforce in mass while a new generation- Gen Z- is quickly entering to fill in the gap. Gen Z has worked less than previous generations, and their professional paths have been disrupted by a global pandemic and a rapidly changing workplace and world. Many of them have never stepped foot in a traditional workplace setting or been exposed to the dynamics that shape it. Leaders face a critical challenge of bridging the generational gap to ensure a steady pipeline of talent – honoring seasoned pros while assimilating new workers and accelerating their development and contribution. Dr. Karah Sprouse and I have created a solution to help! Our flagship offering is an intensive Gen Z program that equips the next generation in professional communication, workplace expectations and emotional resilience. Through a structured blend of training, group coaching, intergenerational mentoring, real-time impact measuring and hands-on capstone projects, participants will navigate the complexities of the modern workplace and achieve early career success while sharing knowledge across generations, empowering us all to thrive. We also offer keynotes and other training! We’ll break all this down in weeks to come. For now, we invite you to explore our website and if you think it could add value to others, please share, tag and help us spread the message. We are grateful for your support! Now, let’s #regenerate. -J + Dr. K Brand credit: Briana Fillers

8moThey also said the same thing about millennials. We were all called demanding and needy! As employers it's our job to evolve with the world and supply the work environment that is optimal to those in it - this will in turn drive opportunity, innovation and a far more valued and productive workplace. If all employers did this a little more, then they may not seem so irritating! x
