We discussed burnout in this week’s episode on self-leadership. It’s important to underscore that burnout must be addressed in all the dimensions in which it shows up: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Are you creating programs in your organization that support all 4 dimensions? Don’t be afraid of those last two in the workplace – it can be done with inclusivity and professionalism. Because guess what? We bring our whole selves to work – and that includes our mental state and our spirit! Link to our episode is in the Comments.

You can either let stress control you, or you can control your stress. And Kevin Bailey has built his entire business teaching high performers how to do the latter. On the latest episode of Hire Learning, Kevin told me that years ago, he regularly experienced a "stress coma" - that moment where you stare at your screen blankly and try to will yourself into some sort of action. Basically, he was teetering on the edge of burnout. And then, he met his now-co-founder, Diane M Powell, who taught him life-changing neuroscience-based mental performance tools. The rest is history. He scaled his first startup to 3,597% growth and helped his team recover from burnout. Now, as the co-founder and CEO of Dreamfuel, he shares his secret to mental clarity with other leaders and teams helping them become 5x more productive. I learned so much talking to Kevin. I don't think I've ever scribbled down so many notes while filming! And if you’re a leader, founder, or just someone navigating high-pressure environments, Kevin’s insights are a must-hear. The episode drops Wednesday, I hope you'll check it out. And thanks so much for coming on brother!
