The future of smart lighting controls is heading in two - almopst opposite directions; - one the one hand, smart controls are better integrated into new building projects, with a far better understanding of how these control systems will actually benefit the building occupants (and owners) - on the other hand, we're starting to see how wireless technology can serve in the retrofit space. Last quarter I stated could be the "nadir" for the lighting industry. No, I don't have a crystal ball but, according to our Q2 Pulse of Lighting Report, https://lnkd.in/eVPDStkh, it appears that the lighting market is getting better. Now, I didn't say it's good, but each segment of the channel reported some level of improvement, albeit nominal and it still lags the broader electrical market. The timing of our report mirrored the release of Acuity's recent quarterly earnings report, which underperformed the overall industry estimate. Take a read and let me know what you think. Motorized Window Treatments Motorized window treatments are a stylish and functional component of our integrated technology offerings. Beyond their visual appeal, these systems play a critical role in energy conservation. By adjusting automatically to block out heat during the summer or let in sunlight during the winter, they help maintain consistent indoor temperatures. This means that heating and cooling systems use less energy to keep the home or office comfortable.
