There is growing recognition that true health care reform will require major strategic and organizational changes in the way health care is actually delivered, measured, and reimbursed. Professor Michael Porter and the Harvard Business School have developed a weeklong, intensive seminar focused on frameworks, application tools, and case studies highlighting real-life examples of organizations moving toward value-based care delivery models.

The VBHCD Seminar received 500+ applications and extended acceptance to 85 individuals for the program. 60 of these individuals were providers/clinical professionals, while 23 were non-clinical/administrative professionals.

Extensive learning in organization preparation and implementation of measuring outcomes, integrated practice units, measuring costs/bundled pricing, geographic expansion, and information technology platforms was attained.
