    Dissertation titled "Persons in Transition: Perestroika, Marketing, & the post-Soviet Future" is a study of how culture transforms and new economic possibilities are produced in post-socialist Russia. The key question of the dissertation is: "Why did the shock therapy reforms of the early 1990s fail, and how is it that Russia started developing a consumer economy and economic growth between 2001-2005?"

    Editorial assistant for "Post-Soviet Affairs," a premier peer-reviewed politics and economics journal focused on the post-socialist world. Taught college courses including: Political Economy, Social Theory & Cultural Analysis, and History of Anthropological Thought.

  • Focus on game theory, microeconomics, and econometrics. Helped revise new edition of microeconomics textbook by Professor Walter Nicholson. Received highest grade for development of an error correction model to explain and predict US-Soviet defense spending.

    Awarded competitive "Financial Women's Association of New York" internship in investment management two years in a row. Graduated from Amherst debt-free through financial aid + working multiple on-campus jobs.
