Here's how you can resolve conflicts between creators and their sponsors or advertisers.
In my experience, it is always easier to map out terms and conditions at the relative beginning of the relationship. Rate, hours, IP ownership, project scope, reporting requirements etc. You can always rewrite/renegotiate but having some kind of structure alleviates the potential that a conflict occurs. If you then have a conflict, you can discuss around the framework of the agreement. Sometimes someone is just really difficult to work with, or your styles just did not match. That is actually happening with a contractor I work with now. The best thing to do in that circumstance is when you hit that realization, cut and run. But again, if you don't have formality on how you would unwind, it is lots of uncertainty on how.
