ALL ABOUT WOMEN'S GOLF! We are looking for companies, designers, creators, manufacturers and distributors in the golf industry who want to promote their products to thousands of women who play golf. According to the National Golf Foundation, from 2020 to 2022, more than 800,000 women in America took up the sport, bringing the total to 6.4 million female golfers. While the number of female golfers rose about 15 percent, the male golf pool increased by just 2 percent during that same time frame. In 2019-2020, the number of women golfers was 22% of the industry players, and in 2021, that number rose to 25% and today has reached almost 33%. Between 2014 and 2021, female golfers' spending on golf goods surged by more than 66%. Experts say the numbers are considerably higher now with no signs of slowing. Young girls are learning to play at increasing rates, while women in their 50s and 60s are taking up the game for the first time. My goal is to continue growing the game for women with the LPGA Amateur Golf Association—Myrtle Beach. My greater goal is to connect with creators, designers, manufacturers and distributors of equipment, apparel, and accessories to promote your products to thousands of women golfers who live and play in the Myrtle Beach area and the millions of women who visit. Myrtle Beach is the golf capital of the world, with 17.6 million visitors in 2023. As per the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, visitors spent $10.1 billion on retail trade, and of that, $59.6 million was spent playing golf. I am working on a project that will bring women from all over the U.S. together and captivate them with all the good things in golf. When you are in the business of writing articles, they don’t always get published right away. Case in point: the article I submitted to the Golf Fitness Association of America (GFAA) on May 24th didn’t publish until June 25th. Enough time passed that I actually forgot I submitted it, which made for a nice surprise today when I opened my inbox and found it had gone live. Our human experience comes with the dimension of time, bringing aging and all the things many of us associate with it—hair loss, greying, new wrinkles, strange skin spots, and more. In golf, over time, statistically we lose power and distance. But does it have to be like that? I’m not sure it does. I’ve heard tales of tribes that lived healthy lives for roughly 200 years until they were discovered by others and learned they weren’t “supposed” to live that long. Within a generation or more, lifespans decreased to what we consider normal. We also live in a multidimensional electromagnetic field. In the dimensional space of oneness, geometrically there is no A and B of time, only A—the now. This space is one of abundance and perfect health. We can access it, in part because we’re already in and of it. Without getting any further into the metaphysical, the point is, similar to what Morpheus said to Neo in “The Matrix,” some rules can be bent, others broken. We can challenge conventional thinking to experience something different and even better. That’s partly what this article, "Defying Age: How to Maintain and Increase Distance As You Get Older”, is about. PGA of America Don Rea Why not shut down ExecuSearch use the money saved to invest in the retirement programs for PGA of America Members? There are plenty of Club Industry related search firms out there. The PGA of America should list jobs inexpensively like the CMAA and GCSAA does. It would remove the ethical questions of the PGA of America recommending one PGA of America Member over another PGA of America Member. In the golf industry, several executive search firms specialize in recruiting professionals for roles within private clubs, golf courses, and related areas at no charge to the candidates. Many Golf Professionals get questions from their students or members about being able to gain clubhead speed as they get older. Many of our SuperSpeed users are over the age of 50. We have seen users of all ages gain speed due to training with our system, but we often get questions about our older golfers. They wonder if they can actually still gain speed at that age and if so what are some special considerations they should think about as they train. In this article, we will review some of the considerations to think about if you are working with older players or if you are an older player looking to gain speed. Compare We all have different priorities,different destinations.We are all at different stages of our journey- we all have issues to deal with-that’s life. We don’t compare apples to oranges -why compare ourselves to others .I enjoy watching PGA tour player swing but I would never compare my swing to theirs. Life is not a series of ideal moments-despite what advertising and social media presents.When we compare ourselves to the superfit,ever smiling people we see on tv or social media the normal reaction is to feel you don’t measure up.Difficult to measure up to a reality that doesn’t exist. Never forget-everyone has equal value-no one more or less than you.Appreciate yourself ! Progress not perfection
