We recently dropped the first episode of a new podcast series that explores the role of artificial intelligence in health care. #AI is on the mind of just about everyone inside and outside Washington. From its impact on our jobs and the broader economy to its potential to save lives through more accurate diagnoses and treatments for patients, the question we still need to answer is how best to regulate the technology’s development. Will federal policy help or hinder the tremendous progress #medtech is making with AI-enabled technologies? What are these technologies, and how do they actually improve care? These are the question we hope to get answers to through our new “From AI to Z” series on the podcast.   My first guest is Troy Tazbaz, director of the Digital Health Center of Excellence at FDA.
