Reflections and Predictions: Closing 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025 As we near the end of the year, it’s a natural time to reflect on the past and anticipate what lies ahead. This tradition of reflection and forecasting is one I’ve contributed to over the years, and now I’d like to share my thoughts about 2024 and what 2025 might hold. The phrase that echoed throughout 2024, especially among building owners and operators, was “survive till ’25.” Well, we’ve made it, and now it’s time to prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead. But before stepping into 2025, let’s revisit a few key themes from 2024 that stood out to me. These aren’t exhaustive, but they are the ones I feel are most worth highlighting.
