Optimistic about power, as new Innovation along the way will bend the straight line projection usually seen in the early inning of technology like AI. Real value realization will mostly be vertical based, not the horizontal LLM. AI will move from infrastructure AI, physical AI(automotive, robotics) to the horizon 3, that is likely AI biggest apps such as AI for science, particularly life science Sandra Rivera : AI impact is multi facets. First it is a TAM expansion for FPGA, which is needed as co-accelerator. AI is also embedded in placement tool and in even in basic fabrics, which will be making FPGA better. Power is the single Largest limiter for AI deployment. Also, Should AI be better regulated than what happened in social media, leading to the data security and privacy. Tien Wu : AI has driven ASE to increase capex to 4B This year from 2B last year due to systematic complexity, not just technology but the more players in ecosystem, which breaks the traditional pricing. AI has made us seeing the first time that Hardware is the bottleneck in term of improvement and return in profit. US has the data and economic scale to deploy AI across all sectors in term of efficiency improvement, given US also has been a highly "wasteful" nation.

Is the customer always right? As product managers, we’re trained to uncover the true needs of our users, listen empathetically, and quickly adjust our roadmaps to drive growth. This approach often fosters a "consultant" mindset, where we wait for the customer to define their needs. We present all the benefits of our platforms and let them choose what aligns with their vision. But after listening to the podcast below, I'm questioning if that's the best approach. What if, instead, we guided customers based on the strengths of our products and our insights into where the market is headed? Could this strategy be more effective, particularly in the early stages of a market when use cases and Product-Market Fit are still solidifying?

My whole career has been at companies whose biggest competitor is business as usual. Cloud Virtualization Deduplicated back up Direct attached storage Automated resource allocation Hyperconverged infrastructure These were crazy ideas initially. Now they are industry standards. Not because they are cool. But because the business outcomes they drove were powerful. Powerful enough to cut through the political and organizational debt that exists in every large company. Powerful enough to CREATE budget for. Powerful enough to change the way people thought about solving a problem they’ve dealt with for a long time. Shift Group is different in that we don’t solve a technical problem, but the problem we solve is a function of business as usual. Posting jobs online, going through resumes, spending time screening candidates that aren’t a fit, hiring people that are not committed to success and then realizing it too late. High attrition. Slow ramp time. Onboarding risk. Every single company in the world deals with these problems. Our brains are so broken through years of conditioning companies actually brag about the problem!!! “We get 1000 applicants for every job post” Sick bud - then what happens? Wasted time, money, and energy - that’s what. I’ve seen this movie for 2 decades and I know how it ends. We will change this. We will be the industry standard. #AllGasNoBrakes #DialedIn
