Heads Up! Fake Courier Scam Targeting Indian Users A recent scam targeting Indian users impersonates well-known courier companies like FedEx and DHL. Here's how it works (similar to the one described in https://lnkd.in/gNhRNPUj): - You receive a call claiming to be from a courier company. - They inform you of a package linked to your phone number containing illegal items. (They often mention Mumbai and Singapore in their script.) - They pressure you by mentioning involvement of law enforcement. Remember, this is a scam! Here's how to protect yourself: - Don't engage. Don't confirm personal details or provide any information. - Ask for specifics. Legitimate courier companies can provide details like tracking numbers, labels, service levels, sender/recipient addresses, etc. Scammers will struggle with these details. - End the call. Saw this very interesting news about #Amazon partnering with #IndiaPost for Last-Mile deliveries. Here’re my thoughts, which I’m very much interested in discussing offline or over the comments : While this partnership may seem like just another logistics move, it could strategically position Amazon to explore hyper-local delivery and quick commerce sectors in India . With this collaboration, Amazon may have unlocked the potential for several interesting use cases like : 🚚Hyper-Local Deliveries : Leveraging India Post’s extensive network could allow Amazon to deliver essentials quickly within urban areas, letting it enter the e-commerce sector which is an obvious... 🚂Reaching Remote Customers : This usecase/problem could be very interesting to discuss given the challenges associated with this exclusive customer segment as this partnership also opens the door for Amazon to serve rural🧑‍🌾🌾and underserved regions i.e., potentially bringing online shopping to areas that have been difficult to access. ✨Announcement📢🥳 I am exhilarated to be a part of Product Space's Product Teardown Competition Season 10 with the collaboration with Susheela Mani Manoharan, in which we have to boost the AOV of Zepto, a leading "10 minute grocery" delivery platform. In this challenge, we have to develop detailed product strategies to: 1. Boost the AOV of Zepto from ₹460 to ₹600. 2. Enhance product discovery and engagement on the app to encourage more frequent and larger orders. 3. Improve purchase experience We came out with detailed user experience, pain points and their wireframe solution to achieve the desired outcome. A big thanks to Product Space for organizing this great competition and providing an opportunity where we can show our learning skills and where we can learn from own mistakes. While the press release attributes majority of financial improvement to revenue growth, my hypothesis is that the real game changer for profitability growth is Valmo. [1] Before Valmo, Meesho contributed ~1300 Cr to IPO bound Ecom Express Limited's revenue (~50% contribution). With Valmo scaling, this cost in all practicality will now add to Meesho's revenue although at a lower profit margin%. 🚀 [2] While the article mentions #GenAI and #MachineLearning contributing to better funnel conversions, i believe the scale of #MeeshoMall would be the primary driver - increasing assortment and profitability with better margins on branded products. Curious to know the answers once more information comes in when financials are filed with the Registrar of Companies, or if we are lucky to get insights from Vidit Aatrey himself.

Between deep self-reflection, back to back interviews, converting them, and life throwing in an unexpected curveball (story for another time 😅 ), I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Flipkart as a 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫! Looking forward to innovating at scale and solving for customers 🙌 I started this journey looking for my 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞, a decision that felt like it was straight out of a 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞-𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫-𝐨𝐰𝐧-𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 book. Fast forward to having 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 from some of India’s most amazing companies. Naturally, I whipped out my decision matrix (complex algorithms included 🧑‍💻) and let's just say, I didn't need a cape, but I definitely felt like a superhero by the end. 🦸‍♂️ 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 🙏 I am very grateful to all the interviewers, organisations, mentors and everyone who helped me during this time- hoping to make you all proud. I just completed Shreyas Doshi's Product Sense course and I am still so overwhelmed with the exceptional experience. Initially, I was hesitant about the time commitment and whether the course would truly deliver value beyond what I could find in other resources. However, by the end of the very first day, I knew this was a unique and invaluable investment in my PM career. The concepts he covers are profound and advanced, going far beyond surface-level product management techniques. Unlike typical PM books or courses, this program challenges you to deeply introspect and reshape your entire product mindset.The curriculum forces you to confront your own biases, assumptions, and mental models in a way that I've never experienced before. By the end of the 5-day program, my product lens had been completely transformed. I would highly recommend it to any product manager looking to create winning products.

Q-commerce Ambitions and My Premonition Q-commerce players like Zepto, Blinkit, and Swiggy Instamart are now soon going to challenge Amazon, Flipkart, and other vertical players headon. For the Urban Double Income Affluent class - ordering by these apps is now becoming a daily habit, which q-commerce apps now wish to exploit to expand into more categories. And it's not going to be easy. I am worried about - one challenge in particular. App #UX sprawl. Quick commerce thrives on #speed, both in delivery and ordering. As more categories and features are added, app navigation could become complex, especially as category managers vie for space and product managers push new features. We are working with existing players and are seeing the cost that they are incurring because of this - low AOVs, poor frustrating experiences and unused features. At Slang Labs as we are building platform for App #AI UX for global apps - I think we have stumbled upon a #neat solution. Not only we make, doing any action on app - equivalent to - just talking to it, the experience is itself - warm, friendly and fun.
