“I had a the opportunity to work with Phnam while at LUNAR. She is very knowledgeable in a wide range of expertise. From physical products to digital. The most impressive part is her ability to work on multi-disciplinary projects with a point of view. Her expertise in soft good is one of the most exciting and fascinating to see. Phnam is a detail oriented designer and has a very high expectation on the creative output. Her entrepreneurship mindset drives her to inspire colleagues and younger creative souls. Reliable, fast and reactive are the main key that makes me enjoy collaborating with her. I will definitely work with Phnam in the future and highly recommend her as a teammate for your future projects. ”

How can you balance speed and efficiency with quality in manufacturing engineering?
1. Work in cross-functional teams. Industrial design, UI/UX, prototyping, user testing, colors and materials, ME/EE/FW engineering, strategy, business, marketing, etc. must work together until the product launches. Transparent communication and good project management are critical. 2. Whiteboard problems and solve them quickly. Small manufacturing issues become big and expensive ones down the line. 3. Know when an idea is worth the fight. Some ideas are great but get lost along the way because someone got lazy. Some other ideas don't last and shouldn't. Know the difference. 4. Zoom in. Zoom out. Some engineers are so focused on a specific problem that they fail to see the overarching vision. Perspective is important to team success.

Capstone project: Design of a crew transfer module from Earth to Mars for a crew of four that transforms into a surface habitat at destination. The surface habitat expands with inflatables to create more opportunities for additional space, modularity, and privacy. The interior is designed to function in both microgravity and Mars surface gravity (1/3 of Earth’s) and sustain a 2.5-year round-trip mission. -

A first ornamental component is physically associated with the loop. At least one flexible cable segment extends from the loop or the ornamental article and terminates in an electronic component. An electronic interface is wired to each electronic component for electronic communication therebetween. A second ornamental component is physically associated with the first ornamental component, the loop, or the at least one cable segment. During ornamental mode, the interface and the at least one electronic component is partially or wholly hidden. During deployment mode, the at least one electronic component is placed in substantially immobilized contact to a surface of the individual that is not contacted by the loop.
