    I'm involved in many student organizations and consider myself a nerd. I collaborate with clubs to organize a large event called ZotCade every year which brings in over 300 attendees. I also manage many projects and host workshops through IEEE and ICS Student Council.

    I liked robots, I liked to make them dance. In high school is where I discovered my love for technology. Together with my love of video games I started diving into computer programming and system administration.

  • VIMS Reduction and FreeMoVR Project

    Started work on virtual reality systems, primarily with the Oculus Rift and working on new natural input methods (FreeMoVR Project) and solving motion sickness for prolonged usage (VIMS Reduction).
    - Built an input device for mapping human foot movement into a virtual reality space
    - Wrote code to convert data from accelerometers, gyro, and magnetometer to a joystick input
    - Researched effects of long term exposure of VR usage to visually induced motion sickness

    - Started Zotcade as a project to build a community of gamers at the University of California, Irvine through large scale LAN parties.
    - For Zotcade 2013 we raised over $2000 in funding, and attendance of 300 participants.
    - For Zotcade 2014 we raised over $5000 in funding, and attendance of 500 participants, with new records on our Twitch stream 2,000 simultaneous, and 35,000 unique over the weekend.

  • RB Competitive Gaming

    Started RB Competitive Gaming with a goal to turn videogames into a competitive sport that promotes teamwork, dedication, determination, and respect.
    - Help create the club and gained support from school administration
    - Successfully raised $200 and acquired servers and computer equipment for a 20 person competition.
    - RBCG eventually inspired SDLanFest, which has grew to over 40 attendees and events occur quarterly.
