    In today’s dynamically evolving commercial landscape, many organizations are
    increasingly investing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as a means of driving
    their business goals through increased productivity, quality, adherence to
    compliance, improved time to market and to save costs.

    have only recently allowed it to be recognized as enterprise grade (e.g. different

    In today’s dynamically evolving commercial landscape, many organizations are
    increasingly investing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as a means of driving
    their business goals through increased productivity, quality, adherence to
    compliance, improved time to market and to save costs.

    Whilst traditional RPA has faced significant integration challenges in the past that
    have only recently allowed it to be recognized as enterprise grade (e.g. different
    technology stacks, business owners or competing vendors), VirtusaPolaris has
    created its own implementation approach and methodology that takes into
    account the challenges faced when using RPA to enable business transformation
    and places emphasis on the final return on investment.

    Our findings have revealed three main stages of RPA upon which we have focused
    our RPA-specific delivery model: basic process automation, enhanced process
    automation, and cognitive automation. As a result, we are able to identify high
    value business processes, select the right RPA method and cognitive tools that
    suits you, test the implementation methodology, and finally monitor the outcomes
    through customized dashboards.

    In a highly globalized community, VirtusaPolaris has developed tools and vendor
    agnostic solutions for RPA, empowering domain experts and partnering with
    market leading tool providers to develop scalable and sustainable solutions for

    The business processes were selected and a POC was done.
    This included a component where text was supposed be extracted using HCR/OCR techniques. An in-house built algorithm was used to do the POC

    After the acquisition of Polaris. The email addresses of all the employees of both the companies were changed to virtusapolaris.com and the modification included many steps where it was automated using Accello. This business process included steps as stated below:
    1) Change User Primary SMTP Address to virtusapolaris.com
    2) Sync User to Office 365 Cloud
    3) Yammer Configuration

    BY automating these business processes 64% hours were saved.

    The AI Bot solution consists of three main components; Deterministic Engine, Probabilistic Engine and the fallback to the human operator. When a question is being asked by the user the question will be sent to the deterministic engine where an AIML interpreter will try to retrieve the answer failing which the user will automatically be directed the probabilistic engine where the question will be sent to a question decomposition component.
    In this component punctuation within the sentence will be removed and also patterns will be matched of the common query words (what, where etc.) and filter any special characters in the input. Then the question goes through the process of grouping together the different inflected forms of a word so they can be analyzed as a single item. Further the question will be directed to POS (Part of Speech) Tagging the process of marking up a word in a text (corpus) as corresponding to a particular part of speech, based on both its definition, as well as its context. Then will be sent to the Semantic Analysis component where a score calculation will be derived and the score will be evaluated using a confidence level and then checked against the threshold value in finding the best suited answer for the asked question.
    If the deterministic component fails to find the answer the user will be directed to a subject matter expert (human operator) where the interaction between the subject matter expert and human operator will be analyzed and the AI bot will train itself so that the next time that question is being asked the AI bot will be able to answer the user without human interaction.

    Artificial Intelligence: Using a state of the art AI Assistant developed by ViruraPolaris the new application is ready to handle the process of making an appointment customized around the consumer’s individual health requirements. It is also capable providing real-time insights into your activities to ensure that you have better health overall. The AI was mapped to the FAQ knowledge base giving the client the ability to train the knowledge base as new questions are asked by consumers.
    Live Tracking & Monitoring: The developed application was able to sync up with Apple HealthKit to ensure that the user and their loved ones are constantly watched over and monitored. The application was additional developed to check the consumer’s social media and other activity, physical tracking to ensure more accurate results

    An international fast food chain of restaurants started rapidly growing and many were in demand of it in countries such as USA and Austria.
    They required mobile apps for Android and iOS which were implemented by Virtusa in order to manage the functions in the restaurants. An issue this restaurant faced was mobile network frequency levels are differing according to various places and countries especially in US, Australia and Sri Lanka because of population, latency and land area. The restaurant's mobile app's QA team was in a need to record and monitor frequency levels in different places of country so it can be analyzed later, but there were no tools available to fulfil this need so mobility got a chance to develop a tool to record frequency and generate appropriate reports based on readings. The primary requirement was to report the readings generated through the mobile app, including visual representations so that the fluctuations would be readable through a naked human eye.
