Greetings, and welcome to Tuesday Tarot with Tina - your week-in-review or review of the week-that-was using the intuitive powers of #tarot. Before we introduce our card, let's have a tarot tutorial. The cards you use to play rummy and poker feature "court" members - Jack, Queen, King. In tarot, the court expands to include Pages, Knights, Queens, and Kings. Think of them as progressing in maturity, wisdom, and responsibility - Pages are the youth, Knights the teenagers, and Queens and Kings the adults. Those cards you use to play rummy and poker also feature four suits - hearts, clubs, spades, and diamonds. These correspond to the tarot suits of cups (ruled by the element water - what nourishes us and puts us in flow), wands (ruled by fire - what sparks and drives our actions), swords (ruled by air - what inspires us and makes us think), and pentacles/coins (ruled by earth - what grounds and supports us). Our card this week is the Page of Pentacles. Our young friend is holding a coin lightly, appreciating it and what it represents. There's a lightness to the card, with blooming flowers suggesting a lovely spring day. Pentacles represent the work we do and the reward we earn from this work. Pentacles are money, home, and tangible material possessions. It's very easy to hold these tightly, to assign them too much weight and, in turn, to let them weigh us down. We can feel burdened by our need to make a certain income, drive a certain car, live in a certain neighborhood, have a certain professional title, and work in a certain company. It can feel exhausting to carry these pressures - especially at a time when the job market is tight, interviewing is heart-wrenching, affordable housing is scarce, and groceries are more expensive. The Page of Pentacles reminds us to put these pressures into perspective, to step back and loosen our grip. By shifting our mindset, we can create room for action and space for others to support us. Pages are students. They are young. Students learn - and build mastery. The young mature - and gain wisdom. Everything you do today is an investment in tomorrow. So - listen to the Page. Unclench your grip. Appreciate what you have, all you've earned - every reward for every effort you've made. Get into nature and sink your feet in the grass to re-ground yourself. You are on your path and more pentacles are in your future. Consider: ✍ Where does my grip feel "tight" - in what parts of my life? ✍ How can I uncurl my fingers - even just a bit? ✍ What becomes possible if I create more lightness and space? Is your approach to facilitation holding your team back? There's a fine balance between enabling ownership and unintentionally doing the work for your team. If your style of facilitation involves: 1. Constantly sending reminders 2. Overlooking lapses in process adherence 3. Allowing excessive flexibility that leads to inefficiency 4. Speaking on behalf of your team instead of empowering them to voice their own concerns 5. Offering solutions rather than fostering creative problem-solving ...then it may be time to reassess your approach. True facilitation is about providing the tools, resources, metrics, and environment for your team to gain insights, stay productive, and engaged. And if someone isn't meeting expectations? it’s time to shift from facilitator to coach. What other facilitation habits could be unintentionally hindering your team’s growth?

Here's the elephant in the room if you're working on PLG. Figuring out the tactical stuff is fairly straightforward. It's not easy. But it's somewhat simple. But getting all the cross-functional teams and stakeholders aligned and on the same page - that's way harder. Most content I see here focuses on the tactical. What to do How to do it Tips and tricks What good looks like etc And why I focus so much on sharing communication and leadership skills instead. The tactical skills get you into the room. But the communication skills make sure you leave the room with a yes.

Very frequently, journeyers confuse the *visions* in a psychedelic session to be the goal. This is no different than having a Kundalini experience, seeing colors during a meditation, or having a conversation with Quan Yin. The question you have to ask yourself is are you confusing the method with the goal? What goal? For this post, I'll offer 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 and 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘰𝘮 as examples but it's super important you're clear on what your true goal is. In any case, this mistake can result in a few common outcomes. 🅲🅾🅽🅵🆄🆂🅸🅾🅽 One of the most common outcomes for paying too much attention to the visions is they are frequently misinterpreted. Psychedelics usually speak in metaphor. A vision of you floating down a river doesn't necessarily mean you're supposed to move to the Amazon. 🅱🆈🅿🅰🆂🆂 When you focus too much on the visions you often miss the content you're really supposed to be working with, releasing or feeling. Psychedelic bypass is a common trap one can fall into without even knowing it. 🅴🆂🅲🅰🅿🅸🆂🅼 When the experience becomes more enjoyable than your day-to-day existence, psychedelics can offer a wonderful way to avoid the realities of life. Monthly journeys may be just the thing to fill your tank. Consider, instead, plugging the hole in the bottom. 🅰🅳🅳🅸🅲🆃🅸🅾🅽 Chronic escapism leads to addiction. Classic psychedelics may not be physically addictive but they are absolutely psychologically addictive. If you're regularly "microdosing" ketamine and MDMA you may already be in this category. When someone asks me when they should do their next journey my standard response is, "After you've integrated your previous journey." If you're not actually doing any integration or activation you've lost the plot. If you keep going back to the medicine but your life isn't changing in the ways you desire, it may be time for outside counsel and support. 80% of the changes we receive from these powerful medicines come from doing work OUTSIDE the journey days. You do not need to ingest a substance to 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬

In the workplace, psychodynamic processes can significantly influence relationships, often in ways that are not immediately apparent. For instance, consider a scenario where you feel unrecognised or undervalued. This feeling might stem from deeper, unresolved issues of inadequacy or low self-esteem, possibly rooted in past experiences, such as critical parenting or previous work environments where your contributions were overlooked. These unresolved feelings can subtly shape your behaviour, leading you to avoid taking on new responsibilities or fully engaging in projects due to a fear of further rejection or failure. Ironically, this avoidance can lead to situations where your contributions are genuinely overlooked, reinforcing your original feelings of inadequacy. This dynamic can also be understood through Jung's concept of the shadow, where your unacknowledged feelings of inadequacy influence your interactions with colleagues and superiors. For example, you might unconsciously project these feelings onto others, perceiving a lack of recognition where none exists or interpreting neutral feedback as criticism. This projection can create tension in your workplace relationships, leading to a self-fulfilling prophecy where your fear of being undervalued actually attracts situations that reinforce this belief. The more you try to avoid these uncomfortable feelings by withdrawing or underperforming, the more you seem to encounter situations that confirm your fears. By bringing these unconscious dynamics into awareness—perhaps through coaching—you can begin to confront and integrate these shadow aspects of yourself. This process can lead to healthier workplace relationships and personal growth, helping you break free from the cycle of avoidance and attraction that has been holding you back. Moreover, as you work through these unresolved feelings, you become more open and authentic in your interactions with colleagues. This authenticity fosters deeper connections and helps build a sense of belonging, as you and your colleagues engage more genuinely and supportively. When you feel valued and understood, not only do your relationships improve, but your overall sense of belonging in the workplace strengthens, creating a more inclusive and cohesive environment.
