Don't draft a dead Frequently Asked Question section to impress search engines. Instead, write Should Ask Questions that readers will actually frequent. We're at a point where we need AI models to tell us which AI model to use. Clearly, putting "It depends" under an FAQ doesn't show your expertise anymore. It shows you're desparate, and soon out of touch. And yes, I know. LLMs aren't 100% accurate. But do you really want a list of things that kinda worked and still ended up being our go-to? If you want to stand out, don't respond to the superficial questions users might have after two clicks in the search results. Let AI handle that. In the meantime, you focus on the things your clients should be asking. Tell us what we haven't thought of. We'll love you for it. I recently made an argument for creating a level regulatory playing field for hemp and marijuana operators. My reasoning is this will bring an end to the Cannabis Civil War, a conflict that puts the industry at risk of collapse. Last Thursday, the Reason Foundation published a report that reinforces my argument: “By leveling the national playing field, marijuana brands would gain interstate commerce and access to the entire national market, while hemp companies would gain more certainty on what the legal and regulatory landscape is, instead of having to operate in a continually-shifting environment, the report proposes.” The report provides a detailed policy proposal for ending the Cannabis Civil War between marijuana and hemp operators. Both parties have an obligation to collaborate on advocacy for this peace plan. If not, we all lose.
