Lately I've been learning more about #SQLMesh from Tobiko Data. It is a data transformation tool similar to #dbt, but with an architecture designed to optimize your cloud spending. While it may be new, SQLMesh already has a lot of robust features that make it a strong contender. Our latest global AI study was conducted among CFOs and finance executives across 2,900 companies spread across 23 countries and territories and 6 industries and found that the companies surveyed are rolling out AI across wider areas of finance, including accounting, financial planning, treasury management, risk management, and tax management. This is an insightful article on HybridRAG. As stated, it's a powerful combination of knowledge Graphs and Vector retrieval. Could this be the solution to complex inquiries for healthcare episodic encounters, where every touchpoint needs context from a related healthcare event, which can be made possible through knowledge graphs, and vector retrieval focuses on relevancy based on input query?

"A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds."  This quote from Emerson has been resonating deep with me... A reminder that only with embracing change can we grow, keep our curiosity alive, and learn from our mistakes. Living in a world that in many ways rewards sameness and beckons us toward the well-worn paths, one can easily slip into the trap of "foolish consistency."  Thus, we cling to our outdated beliefs, resist new information, and maintain a polished image over the expressed pursuit of our true interests. But as Emerson suggests such rigid adherence to self-consistency can LIMIT our potential. Here are some experiments I am running on the path of embracing change and curiosity: 🔍 Developing Specific Knowledge: Innovation and success come through the development of "Specific Knowledge"-that special combination of skills, experiences, and insight which you specialize in. And this is done not by blind adaptation to norms but by the continued questing of knowledge, perception, and challenging the existing conventional wisdom beyond the comfort zone. 🌅 Day One is all about the approach to each day. On any given day, you can be more adaptable and creative, as you don't have the burden of justification that keeps you consistent with things you have done before. The "Day One" mentality espoused by Jeff Bezos calls for a cycle of nonstop learning and improvement, driven by curiosity and experimentation. 🌱 Growth from Mistakes: The road to mastery is strewn with missteps and course corrections. Growth involves embracing mistakes as valuable learning opportunities, not fearing them as threats to self-image. It calls for releasing the compulsion of having always to be right and seeing setbacks as stepping stones in the journey to enlarged understanding. ❓How do you push yourself to get out of your comfort zone and be more curious?
