Women's Empowerment International has funded more than $1.7 million in microloans, training and practical support for 17,000 women living in poverty worldwide.
Our local partners in San Diego include:
• International Rescue Committee - WE STAR Center, a program that provides loans and training to low-income & refugee women so they can start their own businesses and achieve economic independence

• Fonkoze, a microfinance organization supporting women in Haiti
