With Donald Trump and J.D. Vance heading into office, we know the road ahead will be difficult. Project 2025 is upon us, and we unfortunately must begin to prepare for the worst-case scenario for the future of reproductive justice in this country. This outcome means more legal challenges, harsher restrictions, and further setbacks for reproductive justice. But we’ve faced tough times before—and we will not back down on our coverage of the things that matter most to you. "There is no denying that a second Donald Trump presidency will be brutal. His campaign promised just as much. I’m certainly not the journalist to turn to for rosy takes, and I’m not offering any here. However: In the first presidential election year since the Supreme Court reversed Roe v. Wade, it is undeniable that voters across the entire country strongly support reproductive autonomy." - Jessica Mason Pieklo, Rewire News Group's Executive Editor Now, more than ever, the real work begins. As the dust settles, there will be countless stories for us to monitor, like the impact this election will have on patients and providers. This work is time-consuming but critical, and we need your help to continue it. Here’s how Rewire News Group will continue to fight for reproductive justice: Holding leaders accountable: We’ll closely track the new administration’s policies, calling out harmful actions and holding them responsible for any attacks on reproductive rights. Elevating underrepresented voices: Now is the time to amplify the stories of communities most affected by reproductive injustice—especially disabled folks and BIPOC communities—who will likely face the brunt of these policies. Challenging harmful narratives: We will continue to push back against the spread of misinformation and the stigmatization of abortion, contraception, and healthcare access—issues that may come under even greater attack in the coming years. Empowering advocates: Our in-depth reporting will arm activists and allies with the information they need to fight back at the local, state, and national levels. The challenges may be greater, but our collective strength will be, too.

President Biden's historic decision to end his re-election bid reveals 4 takeaways about how data can (should!) inform decision-making. Ignore donor engagement at your own peril -- doing so will be a $500 million mistake. BWF recently conducted a study with 12 higher education partners following the giving patterns of over 12,000 donors whose first gift was under $1,000 and went on to make a gift of over $25,000. These donors gave to colleges and universities both public and private, large and small. We found that: # On average, these donors made 42 gifts totaling nearly $400k # This represents nearly $500M per institution  # The donors in question had been giving for an average of 26 years  # Their current capacities averaged over $1M Want to learn more?
