Important topic. I’d say that local, walkable and accessible is the standard offer. The standouts will add safety, and the stars will offer sexy. Sexy might be the killer app, and too few downtowns have that figured out. We can do a better job selling downtown orgs on the need for glamour, attractiveness and desirability. Important topic that merits a hard conversation.

If you are heading to this conference, there are so many fun things to do in Wilmington. It's a charming coastal city with a variety of activities and attractions to explore. Here are some suggestions for things to do in Wilmington: Wrightsville Beach (my favorite): Enjoy a day of sun, sand, and surf at this popular beach, just a short drive from downtown Wilmington. It's perfect for swimming, surfing, or simply relaxing by the ocean. Historic Downtown Wilmington: Stroll along the scenic Riverwalk, explore boutique shops, and enjoy delicious dining options. Don't miss the historic homes and gardens in the area, such as the Bellamy Mansion Museum. Battleship North Carolina: Tour this World War II battleship docked on the Cape Fear River. It's a fascinating and educational experience, offering a glimpse into naval history. Airlie Gardens: Wander through these beautiful gardens, featuring walking trails, stunning floral displays, and a seasonal butterfly house. It's a peaceful spot for nature lovers. Cameron Art Museum: Explore contemporary art exhibitions and historical artifacts at this museum, which also hosts workshops, events, and outdoor sculptures. "Buc-ee's, Ltd. focused on building its reputation in its home state for 37 years before expanding out of state in 2019. " Not suggesting you wait that long😀 but it gives you an idea of how they got things right in their own back yard before they started building a national brand. Location is also critical to their business. " Buc-ee’s started north targeting Interstate 95, which captures most of the population driving in and out of Florida from Miami and the rest of the state’s east coast, said Paul Rutledge, Tampa senior vice president of retail at commercial real estate firm JLL. About 75,000 to 100,000 cars drive through that stretch every day, he said" I had no idea of the size required for their business. GEORGIA RFP ALERT - Pursuant to the #Georgia State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide Janitorial Services for Georgia Advanced Manufacturing Training Center to the TCSG Georgia QuickStart (hereinafter, the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP. The Georgia BioScience Training Center is a 50,000-sq.-ft. building that opened in 2015 and is dedicated to supporting research, technology transfer, and comprehensive, customized workforce training for bioscience and biomanufacturing industries. The facility includes administrative areas, classrooms, computer labs, a large multi-purpose room, a maintenance training space, analytic lab, a simulated gowning space with lockers and storage. The Pilot Lab is equipped with manufacturing-scale biomanufacturing equipment requiring appropriate cleaning for stainless steel. The GBTC requires additional consideration due to its status as a signature showcase facility. Serving the biotech sector requires that it reflect the cleanliness and sophistication of the bio-manufacturing, bio-pharmaceutical industry. The public areas mostly have a terrazzo composite finish on the floors, and floor-to ceiling glass walls encircling a landscaped exterior space that is the centerpiece of the Center. The American Institutes of Architects Georgia honored the building with an Excellence Award as the best Built Project. The successful contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, supplies, Maintenance, and services to perform the janitorial services as described within the attached Scope of Service and Mandatory Scored requirements for the eRFP.
