NEW RESEARCH: Survey results from Dayforce & SSRS reveal striking differences in the health and wellbeing of workers based on income. Key findings: Workers making less than $50,000 a year were significantly more likely to rate their wellness as poor or very poor compared to their higher earning counterparts. This includes: ●  three and a half times more likely for their financial health ●  three times more likely for their overall health ●  two and a half times as likely for their mental health Those making less than $50,000 annually were more likely to report suffering from anxiety, stress and depression. And on the financial front, these workers were: ●  four times more likely to report needing to borrow money from friends or family, and struggling to pay for both housing and basic needs ●  three times more likely to report struggling to make monthly payments, skipping healthcare or purchasing medicine, and overdrawing their checking and savings accounts So the big question is: in addition to paying people more—which is essential—what else should be done to help them? One answer is Dayforce’s new research series called WorkWell. It’s designed to provide actionable insights to companies to ensure their employees get a just wage, a secure retirement, a fair schedule, and the paid leave they and their families deserve. It’s being done in partnership with brilliant subject matter experts at the Living Wage Institute, the Financial Health Network, and JUST Capital. Check out this Yahoo! Finance interview with Indeed economist, Cory Stahle. The conversation covers Indeed Hiring Lab’s recent AI report which shows GenAI is more likely to support human workers than replace them. “Most notably, what we found in this research is that there were no skills, as in zero skills, that AI was able to do at an excellent level. At the end of the day, it's very unlikely that a lot of these skills are going to be done by GenAI anytime soon,” Stahle explains. #Indeed #HiringLab #AI

I see firsthand the importance of offering meaningful work, modern tools, and a culture that prioritizes flexibility and growth.
