Lack of communication channels and conflict resolution mechanisms can increase tensions and slow down productive discussions. ➡️Why it’s important to avoid this situation: Ineffective conflict resolution and a lack of diverse viewpoints can lead to a culture of groupthink, where critical thinking is held back and innovative ideas are overlooked. This can result in poor decision-making and missed opportunities for the organization. 2. Strategic Planning and Alignment: ➡️How pitfalls can happen: Boards may prioritize short-term operational concerns over long-term strategic planning due to time constraints or pressure to show immediate results.
