🤫 Confession I recently felt a bit "spicy" about what's going on in the CMA space; I didn't like how I felt and how I was reacting - negativity isn't a good color on me. I took time to regroup. I reminded myself it's alright to stay the same, even in an ever-changing landscape. It's never been about personal brand.  It's always been about community. I don't have a zillion followers (my kids are impressed I have any).  My worth isn't measured by clicks. I like that people "like" my content. I love when people comment and engage, not with me, but each other. I cherish direct messages when someone connects on a more personal level. I write when inspired, not on a schedule.  I share what's on my mind and often in my heart. It's nice to be viewed as a thought leader.  It's better to be a trusted resource and confidante. So no, I'm not interested in "building a brand." I'm not interested in being the loudest. I just want to keep connecting with the community.  #community #customermarketing #customeradvocacy #customerexperience

One of my first Customer Experience initiatives was finding new ways to engage customers using existing formats. Point of Reference and Lara Wells were already delivering amazing content via user groups. Together, Lara and I "flipped the script" a bit and offered a wider variety of formats - to date we've done product roadmap discussions, customer insight sharing, industry best practices around goal setting, brought in c-suite leaders to share their insights, and next month we're hosting a CMA book club! Remember, offering options isn't optional when it comes to customer engagement and experience. Vecteris is launching our third book, Commercialize, in the coming weeks!
